I am never influenced by what these announcers say. To me Adamek really gassed out after the 6th rd, I bet of there were compubox numbers it would support that as well.

Conversely grant's work rate actually increased. Like i said if he had any accuracy with his jab and could have put together a few 1-2's he coulda won more rds and maybe stopped adamek.

Adamek seems to be fading more in later rounds since moving up in weight.

I said it after the Arreola fight and I'll say it again. Adamek does not belong at heavyweight.

Best heavyweight fight in a long time. Grant looked like a giant. Adamek showed a great chin and I don't believe this would be how the Klitschko fight would go. I think Adamek has the best shot to beat Klitsch. He probably learned a lot from this fight and he is a very skilled heavyweight, solid chin and throws good combinations. Major props to Adamek.

The problem is that the Klitschkos are much faster than Grant much better footwork, much better ring generalship much better short punches, much better distance boxing, much better punching power, much better....

    Either Klitschko KO´s Adamek.

Vitali inside 10, Wlad inside 7.

Adameks style vs. big man needs to much power. the Klitschkos would wait until Adameks stamina is gone and then KO.....

I have a feeling Adamek can hurt them. He would be one of the fastest they fought and they have horrific chins against speedier heavyweights. He throws nice combos he has the best chance of anyone they faced in the last 4-5 years.

I wonder why dont ppl realse that if grant opened up more attacking he would get countered and possibly dropped? he had the right tactic, Actually i thought he's jab was working pretty well, and he had some good-timed counters with his right hands which he followed up to Ko adamek but eventually failed to do so.

Well I didn't expect anything less from Adamek. Whether he has great success or not he has that great heart to fight and bring good fights to the heavyweight division. What's even better is that he's willing to stay active so I can't make big complaints about Adamek. He won me over as a loyal fan. I can't wait to see the Grant/Adamek fight.

as the bigger guy with pop and against a CW who wasn't flooring HW, grant should have pressed things in the first couple instead of holding back and letting adamek dictate the fight.

grant's confidence might not have been sky-high, but as the bigger man and puncher he should have tried to force things to see what he could make happen.

Adamek would be in trouble vs Wlad. I give him a shot vs a declining Vitali though.

No he wouldn't have. If he opened up he would have been able to bully and pressure Adamek. Adamek's punches were having NO effect on Grant, they barely moved him. ADAMEK WAS NEVER GONNA DROP GRANT! He was just too big of a man and able to take Adamek's punches. He just lacked a jab, and workrate, which lost him this fight.

he would have had a shot at trying to do it...big difference.

it was pretty clear cut (to me at least) that grant needed to impose himself and hurt adamek to avoid a decision.

if i were grant i would have pressed things early. but you can't afford to gas early too....

double edged sword for a big man but considering grant was the underdog i wass surprised he came out in round one tentative and let adamek dictate the fight

I dont believe that some people on this forum said that they were watching fight in live and that Adamek was not rocked. If Grant Hurt Adamek earlier in round 6 it will be probably over for Adamek.I love Adamek and he is great fighter but he was rocked in this fight. He is small heavyweight but he is very fast and in good condition. His problem is that he dont have power like Rocky Marciano,Joe Frazier,Mike Tyson,Earnie Shavers. They were small heavyweights but with big power.

i didnt see the grant fight, but it doesnt suprise me. I kind of knew his chin wasnt that good at heavyweight. I thought arreola hurt him a couple of times and he didnt even land his best shots, and in shape arreola would have no doubt finished adamek. Doesnt surpise that an underachieving but huge heavy like grant hurt him though.
