I think Adamek actually wanted to get hurt last night, so to feel the sensation and practice on how to deal with it, survive and come back stronger. I think this was actually the plan of Adamek, Why else would he go for the KO in round 12 when he had this fight locked up? You really have to admire the fearless attitude of Adamek. Imagine if Mayweather, Jones, Klitschko, and so many other top boxers fought with such courage and fearlessness as Adamek - the sport of boxing would put MMA and some of these other so called sports out of business.

But the chances of Adamek of defeating either Klitschko at this time does not look promising. Haye should now be the target.

Adamek might have taken the fight lightly but still won. He sure as hell didn't perform like this against Arreola as everyone noticed, he was expecting to knock Grant out early.

I'm a fan of Adamek too but that's some disturbing post man. A plan of Adamek is to get hit and see how he handles it?, this is the heavyweight division if you have a team that's plan is to get hit then this team is a failure and Adamek wouldn't go as far as he did if he is in a team with plans like this.

I agree that either Klitschkos would be bad for Adamek but a fight with Haye is definitely winnable. Adamek didn't handle the jabs well.

BTW I think Adamek should take a little bigger break right now. He fights 4 times a year. That's a lot. And last two bloody bouts were against punchers (IMO). And about this 'Adamek got rocked tonight' - so what ? He was rocked in Briggs fight what was in 175 and a little bit by Banks in 200. Based on it he should die against Arreola or Grant if he gets punched. But he didn't die. That's why I'm not so sure Haye will KO/TKO Adamek. Let's be honest Tomasz suprised us. When he went to HW who said that he can take punches from Arreola or a punch from Grant? A few propably.

Exactly my thoughts, just rewathed the fight, u could see in the first round that he was trying to bring it fast. Then after few rounds he realised that unfortunelately his shots aint doing much damage and grant is succesfull from time to time with his counter right.

Exactly, that's when you can clearly notice he decides to get in, throw and get out to score rounds while using movement and backing off.

Seems like some widely different view of what occurred in this fight with adamek fans sying grant won 1 round and barely had him hurt and others saying it was a close fight and adamek was banged up a couple of times. Funny thing is that during the live RBR, most posters wrote adamek was hurt a few times and also all of the pro admake posters in the RBR dissappeared from like the 6th round till like the 11th (when others were saying grant had come on and had Adamek badly hurt at times). Curious

It should come as no great surprise that Adamek's supporters watched the fight the other night through rose tinted glasses. By admitting that a shot Michael Grant was more than competitive with Adamek would be conceding that Goral has little chance against the best in the division. By acknowledging that Grant had his man hurt multiple times in the contest, that would also be conceding that a Haye right hand would most likely make Adamek's head explode. They are no different to any other fan base. They most likely think Adamek will succeed because that's what they want too believe, and they are not in the business of discussing stylistic match-ups.

5-35 seconds is where everybody thinks Adamek was "almost KO'd and hurt badly" in rd 12, which he wasn't.

Grant wobbled Adamek's leg at the end of round 6 that was the worst he was hurt.

Go to 11:15 of this video and you can see Adamek doing the chicken dance. he was saved by the bell however. End of 6th rd. Watch Adamek stagger to the corner. This was 100% a grant rd and contrary to what this announcer said it didnt happen after the bell.

Adamek did win the round up until that point. That was the 1 time he was really hurt and when he was hurt he slipped and blocked Grant's follow up shots did he not?

Wasnt enough time. If Grant had 15 more seconds that fight would have been over. Did you see how Adamek turned to his side...he was out of it then staggered back to his stool.

That left hook that flew by Adamek's head could have ended it, I know could of, should of, what if.

I thought Grant deserved to win rd6.
