I just wonder how long he's had this shoulder injury. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't date back 9 years. We haven't seen SNV dominate in his natural fashion since he won the PABA heavyweight title from George Linberger (KO1) and I know it's not because the opposition has gotten stronger - relative to SNV's talent, his opponents are all -0% of Niko, from Linberger to Chagaev.

If SNV recovers I fear for the fighters in the division. A fully fit but shot to hell 37-year old SNV = Wlad KO1, Haye KO1, Vitali TKO2.

This may as well be the nail in the coffin for boxing as we know it.

Dana White will be rubbing his hands. Value's retirement would be the death knell for professional boxing.

Its just his wilderness years - Ali Did it Tyson did Vitali and Foreman all took time out the sport to come back as legends,
I can see SNV coming back in 4 years time and being the first man since Bowe to beat Evander Holyfield twice thus cementing his ATG legacy

No way does he retire, and leave the income that boxing has to offer, and just let it go.

He will heal, and most certianly forge ahead and try to make whatever money/ fights that he can, while he can.

He ain't going anywhere. Bet on it.

I say that he will not be able to resist the call of his warrior spirit.

means we won't have to watch a rematch with Haye.
