As Vysotsky has pointed out, he slipped the next two punches. So I think maybe you are seeing what you want to see here. He got caught food, but the man was not that bad off.

His post was so unbearably stupid I felt compelled to go the extra mile in expressing my disbelief.

Thats with about 15 seconds left in round 6. With seconds remaining, Grant lands a flush right hand that wobbled Adamek.

He was buzzed real good by that. Had the bell not sounded, Grant might have finished him.

    Ugh Micahel Grant !

He should write a book on HOW NOT TO FIGHT TALL !

If that had been Lennox in there we would of seen Admek streched all over Newark !

According to a certain Michigan Warrior he surely was.

SOme boxers have infinite confidence in their jabs, right hand, defense, movement, I think Adamek has infinite confidence in his ability to survive being stunned, fight while hurt/dazed and then recover and come back stronger. Holyfield had this quality.

Why else would Tomasz fight so aggressively and fearless, going for the KO, in the last round, when he knew he had the decision win and he knew Grant has the power to hurt him badly? Why?

Are you talking about Valuev? :rofl

Dont forget that bum lost to a 45 year old former CW, and should realistically have about 4-5 losses on his record.

Again, completely irrelevant to anything we were discussing. What is it with people on the General Forum? This crowd baffles me.

Grant's a big guy and landed some (not many) nice flush shots on Adamek and he was hurt a some by 3 of em. He was never on the verge of being KO'd. I watched the replay of the fight and can't believe some crap I'm reading, 1 punch away...... Somone brought up Holyfield and many times he's been on the verge of being KO'd and so many times he overcame it. I know Adamek is not up their with Holy but give him some more creidt for fighting while hurt. Another good example is Pavlik vs. Taylor I, round two. He was way closer to being KO'd than Adamek was last night.

Looked like Grant hit him by accident but it got his attention because no one knew where it came from.
