Apologies for my lack of knowledge, I've just booted up Fight Night and noticed him next to Donaire and noticed his last 3 fights were KO's, he's fought Darchinyan, so I'm just wondering who exactly is he and is he rated among any of you? I've heard almost nothing about him.

    Cheers.

This guy is one of the most exciting fighters around. Not really that relevant anymore, but you should watch his fight against Hussein Hussein which is a FOTY candidate easily.

yea jorge arce was the man. mad fun to watch. he would come in with a cowboy hat, or on a horse, or a motorcycle and sucking on a lollipop. very charasmatic yet otherwise typical mexican fighter. great left hook and tough as ****.

    watch jorge arce

He's not really relevant anymore but by **** he used to be.
The guy just screamed entertainment, really aggressive fighter who could punch very hard and would just rip guys to the body with hooks.

There's his first fight with Hussein, a really good war.
Arce destroyed him easily in the rematch however.

El Travieso also took part in the Mexican(presumely celebrity) version of Big Brother and was a big name in Mexican boxing. As said above he was extremely charismatic and always came to fight. he always came to fight, but despite achieving mutiple belts in multiple weight classes probably didn't really live up to expectation.

One of my favourite fighters however, you can't help but love the guy.

Old George Maple is relevant for the fact he's a loony Mexican fight who puts on crowd pleasing fights and smokes on the way to the ring.

OH right, he switched to lollipops, but good to know he still wears the cowboy hat.

He was pretty good back in his prime. He's a brawler and a lot of his fights was fun to watch.
