Holyfield was not a big puncher. Every fighter thats faced him has said he doesnt hit very hard, but he is probably one of the most accurate punchers ever as a heavyweight. He knows where to hit guys right on the button. Hes hurt some iron chinned fighters because of his accuracy. Every fighter has a spot where they can be hurt, and Holyfield was always great at finding it. I would rate his power as a heavy around 6 or 7.

I remember Tyson saying something like "It wasn't that he hit me that hard, just so damn often."

Holyfield had excellent power. He conserved it well. He lifted 250 lb. Savarese up and off of his feet with a left hook. Awesome. This when Holyfield was well over 40 years of age. He just now dropped 260 lb. Botha like a sack of potato's with a right hand. Lewis, who said Holyfield had the hardest left hook to the body that he'd ever felt, knew better than to try and bang Holyfield out. If Foreman is a 10 I'd give Holyfield an 8.0 or 8.5 rating.
