There's a very good argument for both Manny and Pac to be P4P#1, which is why it's so ****ING frustrarting that the 2 useless ****s can't get the fight on. Boxing gets on my tits at times
I can't say i agree with the above, As i believe Pacquaio is now fighting at his natural weight. By natural weght i mean he no longer has to cut the excess pounds like he was doing at 130. His fighting weight is now alot closer to his walkng around weight which could help improve performances, seeing he no longer has to cut an can focus soley on his training. I know i read somewhere he was eating such an such calories when he first moved into the weight but i honestly believe its a very smart ploy which adds to the Pacquaio is a small man myth. Its difficult to say for sure with Pacquaio as he has spent most of his carear staying as small as possible whilst still carrying enough power to be effective. I only really clicked on about Pacs frame once i seen the tale of the tape aganst Hatton an realised Pacquaio was bigger than hatton in almost every area. He was at least 150lbs fight night against Cotto imo an looked excellent. Normally you can tell whos the bigger man (if there is one) when they're both in the ring, an anybody that didn't know Pacquaio and Cotto whould've been hard pushed pinning Cotto as the bigger man that night, just by looking at them. I guess what i'm saying is, i reakon Pac would struggle to even make 140lbs now that he has let hmself fill out his natural frame. I have no doubt Pacquaio is extremely comfortable at WW.
pacs def number 1 in p4p ratings due to recent achievements floyds the top welter though...plus the better fighter
atsch I think Floyd would beat Manny if they both fought, but I think Pacs career wins tops Floyds P4P is a load of bollocks
It just goes to show that nobody valued Pac fighting Dlh at 147, beating Hatton after Floyd, and fighting Cotto at 145 catchweight. The Clottey fight...some believed that Clottey was told to lay off of PAc lol... And for the record, PAc and Shane have not been stopped in a fight ******* lol...
Is this some kind of hate thread? Of course a fighter is out of p4p contention when they have retired / declared themselves unavailable for a year or so. Give the guy a break. He'll be back to do what he does best.
That sounds very much like the Catchweight King. So let's go down the list of the Catchweight Kings recent achievements... David Diaz = nobody ODLH = ole, shot, weightdrained, Mayweather leftover Hatton = Mayweather KO victim, shot Cotto = Margarito KO victim, shot Clottey = punching bag The above body of work does NOT endear a fight to P4P #1 status...
Why not? Didn't he prove it by beating a prime and top rank WW in Mosley and a prime #3 P4P fighter who is only 3 divisions below his weight?:yep
