Henry Armstrong went on a 46 (might have been 45) fight winning streak from 1937 to 1939. Started with the likes of Mike Belloise, Rodolfo Casanova and Frankie Klick, and ended up with him winning the welterweight title and beating the likes of Barney Ross, Lou Ambers, Chalky Wright, Ceferino Garcia and Baby Arizmendi.

For me Henry Armstrongs 27 straight KO streak was something extraordinary, think of all the hype surrounding the late Edwin Valero when he kept KOing no-bodies, Armstrong was flattening top fighters back to back generations earlier. Think of all the bangers in history that never managed 27 straight KO's...

 

Think there was a guy called benny leonard who went 83 unbeaten around the early 20's

Packy McFarland list his first fight, then went on a P4P spanning 94 fight unbeaten streak before retiring, beating ATG's including Freddie Welsh.

Chavez's run was truly sublime too.
