floyd's defense is his offense. once the opponent gets tired of hitting air, floyd will take advantage of that. that is why floyd dominates most of his opponents in the later rounds. pac and floyd should fight coz stylewise, both have the tools to defeat one another. who wins will be considered greater than the other.

Floyd and manny can only settle this in the ring! Talking about the individual records and who's beat who is just irrelevant. Styles make fights and I just hope these two amazing boxers don't deny the fans of our right to witness them do battle.

Correction: I am a boxing fan....I let the kids in here do the bickering and I give an educated opinion and state facts......I am a fan of both fighters.

    1) this is irrelevant, doesnt matter where you came from, also he never earned #1 p4p, Mayweather retired at the time.

    2) You admitted Mayweather is a more complete fighter

    3) Mayweather has fought bigger opponents as well, thats why they both are multiple title holders :patsch IRRELEVANT

Longevity is due to retiring/vacationing evrytime he is faced with great challengers...no way in ****ing hell will Floyd be remembered as the better fighter of the two. Especially when people look back and see Floyd retired twice when faced with good competition...stupid ****ing *****s

I have seen holes in Mayweather's last fight something a top live fast fighter would expose, Mayweather is giving openings, and I also feel that his legs are going.

SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS: Mosley moved up and a hurt tooth, Arum never wanted Cotto anywhere near Mayweather, Berto was and still is too green Margarito and Paul Williams was all risk/ No reward, neither guy had Marquee wins on their ledger......Manny was way down at 130....He didnt have many options plus no matter what he did it never was enough

Did not read this nonsense. I will after PBF grows some balls & fights the Flip. If he beats Pac, maybe you have a point. If he gets stomped, you just wasted alot of time with your theories.

No this is my own view, watch Floyd's last 2 fights, his movement around the ring is not the same. But then his last two fight his opponents did not offer much (apart from Shane's 2nd round). Remember a defence reflex fighter will lose reaction reflex time with age, Floyd's not a young man any more.

No one will ever allow themselves to agree with this, because they are blinded by their hate for him. So trying to have a sensible debate about PBF is futile!

Alot of writers have been calling Pac fans, fanatics because that's how they behave, they're not really boxing fans just Pacquiao fans.

Pacquiao is THE man, but no way is he greater than Floyd.

I agree, but since moving up to 140, he has since economized on movement and incorporates more slipping, and dipping and other defensive nuances. OF course he isnt the athlete he was at 23 now he is 33 but it isnt as pronounced as roach made it out to be....I feel he moves laterally when he needs to more now, other than just for it being his style of inclination:good

Most of those aren't based on fact, but hey I don't care.
All of these thread about pbf/pacman are garbage.
None of this will be settled till they fight.
