Adamek got rocked tonight

Adamek's chin has held up very well so far, but how much longer will it be able to hold up?

Adamek fights hard and gets himself into trouble frequently...always finds a way out though. He does remind me quite a bit of Holyfield in this regard. I would not be surprised if he goes the distance with or upsets Vitali or Haye...but I don't see him beating Wlad.

 

If Grant had come along now, instead of 10 yrs ago, he would be elite in today's division. Adamek will never beat Wlad but looking at Vitali recently, I feel Adamek would have a decent shot against him.

 

FActs are that Grant was very well prepered and clever in the ring


Sad is that Adamek is so small HW He lokked with Grant like a baby

To be honest Adamek vs Wlad or Vitali would be very very tough. Adamek needs a miracle

How did that happen?

 

Adamek has a lot of skills, but he's still a 215 pound guy fighting in a time where the best heavies are much bigger than he is.

Grant does not qualify as a great heavy, but his sheer size foreshadows what is to come for Adamek if he ever enters the ring vs the Klitschko's.

 

He was rocked only in 6th. In 12 not, for sure.

 

Grant, fought pretty well last night. I thought he should have open up and little more but he wasn't that bad. Grant, busted up Adamek and had him hurt on a few occasions and the scores were alot closer than the judges had it. Both, Grant and Adamak fought and good tough fight, so props to both.

 

Nah scores were okey, grant won the 6th and 12th, fight was semi-competetive but adamek was winning the rounds. Dont let the blood fool you, also the first cut came from elbow.

 

Adamek hasnt impressed me in his last fight but we are lucky that he won cause otherwise we would have to watch wladimir vs grant fuk no!!!

If he can beat Vitali he can beat Wlad.

 

In my opinion, he can't beat either of them.

 

I think the big question here is: In exactly what condition is Wlad's and Vitali's chin? For the first 6 rounds Adamek was barging in on Grant at will. Now I really hope the K bros. have a better chin than Grant, even though I can't remember the last time Wlad's chin was tested as Grants was vs. Adamek. That being said, hypothetically speaking, if Adamek can even get 1/3 of the punches in on either K brothers that he did vs. Grant it might be interesting. Being a fan of Adamek I still don't think he's going to get that many opportunities to land those combo's on the K bros., I think they're too clever, have much better upper body movement than Grant, and will utilize their jab too effectively for Adamek's liking. If I was him I'd go after Haye if possible, if not, another test vs. a Chambers or equal to get ready for a battle vs. Haye, that is if Haye won't lose to a K bro before.
