What the hell are you talking about? I tend to avoid playing the discrediting game. I just know, for a man who professes to be the greatest, he has a hell of a lot of fighters missing from his resume.

.Edit: I will add in response to your post, I don't take the HoF into account when judging a fighters worth. When I say All Time Greats I mean those few who really proved their worth.

I would be genuinely interested to hear your views on Harry Greb.

If you read my posts on dream fights you'll see Tyson-Lous, Benn-Froch (its brit forum after all) alhough Benn-Hagler woulda been awesome. im not 'conditioned' to thinkin his style's better i just give credit when earned. I actually think its working in reverse, a guy comes forward some on here think that must mean he's in control when he could be just about to walk onto something.

Im still waiting on your answer re: Moore flea or like the other day you ducking that too (like floyd hahaha )

Not me. But when you have a guy who has good footwork, the ability to throw a lead right without the opponent knowing if it's going to be a jab or hook and great speed - that guy can control. We're not talking about some face-first, Margarito fighter here.

    What on Moore Dawg?

He performed well at Heavyweight. That cannot be denied. I don't see what else you want me to say.

Put it this way, if there was the amount of titles back then as he is today, he woulda been a 'beltholder'.

    Logout and hang yourself.:good

Quite discrediting I feel and Rob's a knobhead wasnt it. Dont take the moral highground. Theres also a lot of quality fighters on there that he BEAT which trumps the over-used gauge of quality- who he fought. Fighting and getting beat by great guys aint more respectable than beating a very good 1. More to the point its stupid

I thought we were talking about boxing. That comment was in response to someone calling Pac a "rank amateur". Way to try and misquote me. And yes I did call Rob a dick head, but we get on and he knows which way to take it - know idea why you're getting upset about it.

He's beaten quality, but there are too many question marks. Why the vacations? Why not just fight the best? To be honest, I don't care about the past anymore - I just want him to fight Pacquiao. Is that too much to ask? Why does Floyd always have to be such a tiresome drama queen and attention *****? Just fight Pacquiao for ****'s sake!

You're hypocrisy for saying im discreditng you. No I was referring to a concept you amongst others have that by simply fighting Mr X and Mr Y that makes you better but it dont if you dont beat them. Flea bringing in Marciano as his latest attempt to fuel his anti-floyd rants was, as ive stated, wrong as his record imo doesnt even match Mayweathers. And nobody today technically touches. Like nobody is on the roll and brings the measure ferocity Pacquiao does.

If you read my posts ive said more than once I want this fight and we NEED this fight. Just thought people with more experience on this site would be more constructive than whinge about a guy with immense abilty every thread he's involved in

Dawg: Moore beat Valdez twice, as well as dangerman Bob Baker. If you're as much of a fan as Moore as you say, you'll know how significant these wins were.

They were the two men Marciano didn't fight, Valdez was a big Cuban, who, in retrospect is VERY crude. Regardless, Moore beat him whilst he was highly ranked, it's on YouTube, man Moore looks BEAST at Heavy (as you put it earlier) and Marciano opted to fight Cockell (yeuck)

In terms of weight disparity, Moore-Marciano is not the biggest I can think of at Heavyweight. Especially when Moore proved his ability at eating other bigger fighters, clearing out all the contenders that Marcianodidnt fight. All the time whilst easily making weight to beat Maxim and Harold Johnson at light heavy.

Now, I'm sure we can both agree Moore was definitely one of the greats. Top level wins AND astonishing opposition, the fact he even went on to fight Ali says masses for his worth in the sport.

How does 40-something and '0' compare to THAT?

No no, you've completely misunderstood. I meant discrediting of other fighters' wins - I couldn't give a **** what you think of me as a poster. Anyway, it's late and I'm tired. Been good chatting with you for the most part. Peace.

Again based on the notion that I accept he has 'immense ability'. I've seen far more impressive and formidable skillsets.

Can anyone give me the jist of this?

    I'm lost.

I pretty much got up to the bit where he said Moore did nothing at HW though. Classic.

THAT took you over a ****ing hour?? Good reading, what book? Twats Guide to History of Boxing.

You have the nerve to laugh at me with Corrales and your counter is Valdez?? all the while you are contradicting youre earlier statements re: Rocky btw with dodging competition but we'll move on.

Fully aware that you got Valuev Haye, Fitzimmons-Dunkhorst was a huge gap and how many Primo Carnera fights was there the odd lb here and there difference? And look at the quality of these 300lb+ boys... not too many ATGS there man so dont use that he bashed up guys much bigger than him ****. As I said Floyd P probably gave weight to Archie.

Hey ive already said at light-heavy he was superb, theres no need to take the **** over my superlatives. You're now using 1 of history's most important fighter in Ali to say Archie Moore was the man at the heavy division?? Man you must be sooooo high :rasta

As for the last comment its clear youve moved on from Rocky Marciano to Archie Moore in your attempt to wind me up over Mayweather. Pretty lame :D

Every single one of his best wins were at light heavy, of course he was respected and got the big fights at heavy thats what they did but he didnt win any of the Patterson, Rocky, Ali did he
