Damn Liked this kid!!!! Fast, Solid set of Skills. I last saw him lose a close decision back in '07 to Steve Forbes. I just don't know why he stopped fighting. I heard he was lazy and woulnt really train as much. There is a rumor going around here in L.A. that hes really overweight and not in condition to train. I heard this at the Maywood boxing gym where Alfredo Angulo, Carlos Molina, Charles Huerta, and Hurbano Antillon train.
Even when he was at 140, he always looked a tad soft in the mid section. Not quite like Juan Diaz, but Bojado never was "cut" like other in shape fighters. It's a shame really, he had the potential tyo be a pretty big star. And major ****in rich!
Last time I saw him was as a sparring partner for DLH before his fight with Mayweather. I don't recall him looking fat while sparring with DLH, but it was tough to tell with the gear on.
A lot of guys have the tools, but a lot of those same guys don't have the grit and determination to make it to the top and remain there. I am not blaming them. Boxing is a really tough way to earn a living.
