Floyd had been fighting for 10 years, im pretty sure he knows a legit challenge when he sees one. He saw a guy who lost 5 rounds to Paulie Malignaggi, a guy who was rocked and almost KO'd by Torres and Corley, a guy who had to get on his bike just to edge Mosley, and probably knew that Cotto wasnt a challenge.

Mayweather challenged Cotto when he was at 140. He turned it down. Arum knew he didnt stand a chance.
