    Dawson was the king of the division and had to fight in Pascals backyard to get a HBO date. Pascal has a following & would draw more attention to the fight. I hope u dont think that BHop was scared to fight Dawson.:huh

    Okay, I agree that some may see him as too old and too boring and dirty etc...
    But I honestly thinks this fights has to happen to prove who is the best LHW:

    1) B-Hop who was the premier LHW lost his crown to JC. But when Joe retired the title was up to grab, and B-Hop was considered the premier LHW again because his conquerer retired (and his performance against "then" highly rated Pavlik)

    2) Besides the JC loss and since JC retirement, B-Hop has not been defeated by any other LHW making a win over him still credible.

    3) Many people still consider B-Hop as the best LHW, and thus a thorn in Pascal's eye of LHW supremacy. Pascal should try to eliminate that sticky old player once and for all...

    4) Let them battle to decide once and for all, and let there be no doubt who is the BEST LHW!!

    5) Makes the match between the winner of that fight VS Dawson more intriguing!!

    He sees things in Pascal that he can exploit far easier than he could in Dawson.

    Yeah, Pascal's pretty wild and wide at times. The kind of stuff he landed on Dawson,he'd have a much harder time with landing on Bernard Hopkins.

    I think im gonna go with Pascal in this one.... he seems like he has the fire to win, and i dont think Hops will be dealing well with a young fast guy who wants to win, coupled with the fact that i think Hopkins hasnt looked good at all lately and i think his time is done. But you know what, im just glad theres a fight im excited about taking place.... glad it was made.

    I would be surprised if this happend as Hopkins like the odds in his favour and normally likes to fight people coming up in weight rather than established at the weight.
    Other than Tarver, Hopkins hasnt fought another top 10 rated LHW fighter when he fought them

    Exactly!

    I firmly believe Hopkins is a much more skilled fighter than Pascal. Physically speaking i'll go with Pascal at this stage but with a well applied gameplan, this is B-Hops imo.
