Marvin Hagler's Comments on PAC vs Floyd...

I don't think any boxers "ENJOY" eating punches. Some just are less affected by them than others. he brought up Sugar b/c he sees Floyd avoiding a fight by using his popularity to create concessions in favor of them. But I don't think he feels Manny and him are a like in style.

His judgement isn't imparied b/c he has negative feelings about WHO WON their fight. He doesn't like the decsion and feels Ray RAN and didn't fight. But he doesn't loath Ray. Marvin is just calling it as HE SEES IT! ANd it's a majority perspective on this topic.

The "EXTENDED VACATION" was funny as ****!:rofl But at least Marvin got to fight Ray and then after the loss he took the "extended vacation". Floyd took that vacation before the fight happened. I'm still hopeful Floyd steps up and he faces Manny in 2011. I hope he's just being "FLOYD" which means he's trying to fatten this pot so when he does take the fight it's MORE money. But that's really me giving Floyd the benefit of the doubt.

PAC accepted terms but had his own stipualations. The difference between Hag and Sug and PAC and FLoyd is that NO ONE was on level with Ray at the time of the Hagler fight. Ray was the "GOLDEN BOY" of that time. MANNY AND FLOYD are BOTH considered equals and NO ONE can or should be able to dictate to one anther demands without knowing the other side will have a say.

Manny shouldn't have to prove himself clean based on accusation Floyd and his team spread in order to lay the foundation for the OSDT demands. Which hasn't made sense to the majortiy.

 

Coming to that conclusion as a FIGHTER is easier than the average joe. YOu can sense fear and you can pin point someone being scared by their words or actions.

It could be as simple as the difference in mentality! Marvin has a similar mentality to OLD SCHOOL fighters who just fight...they look for challenges and the hardest ones and try to test themselves against the best. So drug tests or specail demands to do what these men do would indicate to someone like Marvin that the other side is scared.

At the end of the day it's just an opinion! But one that comes from a well respected all time great. And that holds a little more weight than comments from lets say a KERMIT or PAULIE.

 

Jealous? Nah:verysad George has a bigger bank roll than Floyd, Ray has a more respected and better legacy and Hagler as well. These guys aren't jealous of Floyd at all. They don't seem to think a lot of him but I wouldn't call them jealous.

Jordan respects Kobe and Lebron for the athelets they are but Jordan is old school. He doesn't like how Kobe is about money first and his team second.....Jordon doesn't like the fact that Lebron is looking for an EASY way to Glory vs building up YOUR TEAM and taking them with you. But to say Jordan is jealous of Kobe or Lebron is funny.:rofl

 

Floyd can't beat Robinson, Leonard, Hagler, hearns or PAC. Like of the fights Floyd can't beat.....no one will ever know b/c he's not stepping up to face the real challenge. You got it right the president is black but the worlds best in boxing is NOT. He happens to be a few shades lighter and some would even say he's got "yellow-ish" skin! Kind of ironic b/c the black fighter is showing signs of being more "yellow" than actual color of PAC's skin.:yep

 

Hearns is a "high yellow"... and Ray is definilty a "red bone".:smoke
