Hopkins once again has pulled a fast one ! I expect him to school Jean but I hope Dawson can get his rematch first !!

Indeed. Hopkins, despite his age, would be a very live underdog in this bout. :good

Plus technically he will box circels around Jean ..I mean if anything Dawson just gave a blueprint as to how to beat him the only diffrence he fought in spurts ..Hopkins is too crafty against inferior boxers ..

    BHOP UD!!
This fight is going to be as easy for Hop as Pavlik.
Truth is, Pascal is an over-hyped B level fighter like Bute, Calzaghe, and Pavlik, with not much real experience, below elite stats, and average power.
BHOP gets to school yet another young'un while Calzaghe tries to clear his nose of, candy.

Unfortunately for Hopkins, outboxing him technically and actually executing it physically are two different things.

I have no doubts that he'll have a gameplan that can be successful, but with how uncomfortable he's looked when speed comes into the equation can't be ignored. I think Bernard's relying on Pascal gassing out, which has been a trait with him because he's got too much superficial muscle. If Jean doesn't gas, he's going to be too quick and explosive for the old fox. Pascal may well be anyway, but I think the weak points Hopkins is going to try to take advantage of are pretty clear cut.

I also wonder if this is happening at 175 or if Hopkins is going to try to bait Pascal up into a higher catchweight...

Neither Bute nor Calz are "B" level fighters. As for Pavlik, his punching power is anything but "B" level.

Hopkins is going to be a live underdog against Pascal. Despite his age and recent showings he is a good style match up with Pascal and I see this as an even type of fight. Pascal is a much better match up than Dawson for Hopkins, despite Pascal beating Dawson. Hopkins will be able to take advantage of Pascal's sloppiness while Dawson wouldn't give him that oppurtunity. The question is does Hopkins have enough left to physically do what he needs to do. I'd prefer Dawson, Cloud, or Bute as opponents for Pascal but I actually don't mind this one if it happens.

Pascal would beat him. Hopefully he fights Bute, that would be a real fight, as opposed to beating an old man.

after his last performance against a dead-man in jones, the only thing hopkins needs to accept is retirement.

When you say "box circles", do you really mean:

"Charge in head-first with a punch. Hold. Repeat. Hold more. Hold and lowblow/rabbit punch. Hold. Fake agony from tap to the midsection"?
