Bowe even at a young age had a good outside game when he wanted to use it. He wouldnt have fought David Tua like a brawler, it was too easy to beat him from the outside. If guys like Izon, Maskaev, Rahman, and Wooden could outbox Tua for the course, Bowe could certainly do it, not to mention he would be hitting Tua hard on the inside. Heres Bowe using his jab and outside game well against a respectable journeyman.

Bowe was scared **** of Lewis, so scared he threw away his belts rather than fight him.

Vitali wasn't scared or intimidated by Lewis at all..............in fact he hung in there taking a points lead before being stopped on cuts.

    True story. :hi:

That being said, I think this would be a very close fight due to Bowe's technical advantage, both having great chins, & Vitali's incredible workrate.

Neither Klitschko brother would have been champion in the 90's ... no way ..

Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis all beat either brother ..

Unfortunately Bowe fans aren't interested in True stories - They are are interested in claiming what Bowe could of done even though he didnt and ran away from the opportunity!

His points lead was due to bias judges, I only gave Vitali rounds 1 & 2, Lewis took the rest. :ko

This sums it up really - You show how Bowe would beat Tua by showing me Bowe beating a fringe journeyman at the very end of his career.

Holyfield struggled with Ruiz, Moorer and Bowe

See the pattern when we put Tua into the equation!

No that was to show you he could box from the outside behind a solid jab and that fight was before he even fought for the title. How old are you?

Tua was an easy target, he had a left hook and little else. It didnt take a rocket scientist to set a gameplan to beat Tua, thats why so many guys were able to drag him late in a fight with just a jab. Tua was discouraged by one shot that Lewis landed on him, Bowe would land several thats why he stops him.

I didnt see Moorer or Ruiz drag Tua late into a fight but I bet they would have no problems with the mighty Elija Tillery
Tua had a fantastic chin - Now just because Bowe had a good first fight against Holyfield you bestow upon him the ability to do something no one else has done - He hit Golota enough times and couldnt stop him - See what a real puncher like Lewis did to Golota!

Bowe was shot to **** against Golota in both fights, they are irrelevant to his prime.
Also, Tua is vulnerable to body punching (observe the feather fisted Byrd hurt Tua's body) & Bowe would capitalize on that with his great body punching skills.

Yet Again - The argument disregards what Bowe actually did and cherry picks a flaw in his opponent.
Maybe we should just judge Tua from his fight with Moorer [who beat Holyfield between Holys wins against Bowe and Mercer, so peak Holy]
and conclude that Tua would Knock Bowe out pretty quickly.

Or does the cherry picking only work in favor of Bowe?????

I scored Holy-Moorer in favour of Holy, although it wasn't a peak Evander as he was suffering from a collapsed left ventricle of the heart.

Even with 1 eye Vitali boxed 2-2 against Lewis...and that wasn't a properly conditioned version of Vitali as he trained for a 10 rounder against Boswell and was a late replacement.
