Just stop. You mention that the guy was a fellow enthusiast of an obscure hobby wearing a watch worth more than $10k and you again chalk that up to race? Wow. You rattle off a list of people who you share common interests with, heritage, probably look like so approach authentically and unguarded, and chalk this up to their race? Ugh.

No Mainers probably aren't "a-holes", but they probably don't recognize you as the same clan and you probably didn't go out of your way cheesing and showing a willingness to break bread. They also don't have the "spare change" to drop on $10k watches so maybe that is the reason they were not as willing to stuff your gullet without knowing you?

Come on man. That is seriously shallow thinking. Just stop. :bart

If you want to say, "I am a Filipino so Filipinos are great!" Go for it. Quit trying to dress it up with all this anecdotal BS.

Have you ever even thought to analyze WHY?!? What policy platform do Black voters support? What policies does Obama support? Do they align? Even on the most superficial of levels?

Your whole crap scenario would hold water if those same "know nothing about politics" Black students then entered into political debate on some hard core policy forums saying, "Obama is going to fix jobs." How? He has less power than damned Congress.

Your point is casually racist and all over the place. Your silly point ACTUALLY is, that if Filipinos want to idolize Pac? Go for it. They want to throw Pac fight parties? Go for it. However the real issue here is if they bring that crap to a boxing forum? Prepare to be hated for the ignorant crap that spews forth from their mouths.

You're misguided and gullible.people are people. And second, yes,by American standards Hawaii is much more peaceful and friendly but they don't like whites so much. They call them Haole's and the native population is very resentful of them.(I don't blame them). And if you wonder about Obama's demeanor it is definitely Hawaiian and not Chicagoan.People miss the fact that he is Asian as much as he is black and white. He grew up in Hawaii and two years in Indonesia, that's mighty Asian.By the way,go to the filipines to find out about filipino's and go to the ghetto then come back and talk to me.(If you make it back)

Interesting so far (well as interesting polls get).

    - Although Pac is clearly more popular on this forum, theres only 4 Filipino votes. This means you can't generalise that most people who prefer Pacquiao are *******s and not boxing fans. The hero worshippers would surely be Pinoys?

    - Europe has the closest margin, with Pac getting roughly twice Mayweather's votes. What I expected, with no real racial bias to either side.

    - In America it seems that non-black people prefer Pac and black people prefer Mayweather. Not surprising.

    - Are the white/hispanic/etc votes a result of Mayweathers race as much as Mannys fan friendly style?

    - Black Americans overwhelmingly prefer Floyd. Is it because they appreciate technique and skills above all else? This can be the case for some eg bald head slick, but not all.

    - Am I just talking **** and non of this has relevance? I think not.

Interesting observation on this case study.....

TS with an avatar of Manny Pacquiao starts a poll intended to study the demographics of Pacquiao and Mayweather fans. Seems like a fair study.

Upon minutes, known ESB Floyd fans attack the TS and hurl insults at how Pacquiao's fans are inferior in boxing knowledge to black American boxing fans, all before any remote ******* comment was ever made. Totally unrelated to the study being done.

    My conclusion:

WELCOME TO ESB! HOME OF VICIOUS *****S WHO WILL ATTACK YOU IF YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THEM!

    **** OFF.

I have a question about this, black people just vote for the black candidate, why didn't Alan Keyes get 100% of the black vote? Why you ****ing degerate? Alan is black, shouldn't he have pulled in 100% of the black vote according to your calculations.

I was a bit worried at the start that i was gonna get e-raped! There was a lot of ****in hostility!

Seriously though, a Pac or Mayweather avatar doesn't mean ****. Pac happens to be my favourite current boxer, but I've had other boxers avis and I hardly ever comment on the Pac/Mayweather threads because it makes me feel dirty just thinking about it.

Technically Hawaiians are mostly Filipino. However "mostly" is relative with them coming in at a "staggering" 13.6% of the population. Making them "far" more common than people of Japanese ancestry by a "whopping" 1%.

What the hell is up with you guys man?

I know what you are writing! Huh? You see things and don't even know what the hell you are seeing! Those Black kids supporting Obama on the basis of him being Black are the equivalent of most of the Pac fans that made FMJ fans hate Pac.

Nowhere did you suggest? Yes you did fool. You even went on to say it as "OK". You then go on to say they "knew nothing", but that doesn't suggest "blind support"? :patsch

So, now you go on to back up what we were saying to you by admitting it was dumb and maybe your "control group" may be biased? WTF? You are all over the place.

Here are some "universal truths" for you:

    -- People are generally nice.
-- People wearing +$20k watches who see other people wearing +10k watches don't mind sharing dinner.
-- People who have casual opinions, especially those that are not hateful and don't harm anyone, have every right to have them no matter if they are justified or not.
-- People who have baseless opinions will find themselves the target of deserved attacks on a forum where people actually follow the subject/person and are passionate.
-- If the "Asian and Hispanic" kids at your school "didn't give a f***" about that election after the butt kicking Bush and a Republican congress put on America it is safe to say that NOBODY in your school knows anything about politics.
