Carl Froch is the most overrated puncher in boxing today

:huh What even when Taylor was completely ****ed on the floor ?

 

Froch is a very decent hitter. Anyone whos been in the ring with him will tell you that? I guess you could say hes overrated to those who claim he is p4p one of the biggest hitters today. But i dont know a lot of people who say that?

The thing with Froch you have to respect is how he keeps coming. Taking shots then returning fire with big shots of his own. This style of his may lead people to assuming he had monster power because of his toughness. He is a good power puncher. No more. No less. Havent come across many who over rate it

 

well lets look a bit deeper here shall we.

kessler and pascal have never been floored, so froch not kayoing them is nothing special.

dirrell has an awesome defence and amazing reflexes, i doubt anyone will catch him flush in his prime, that is unless he is down on one knee already.

taylor, say what you want but frock tko'd him, if it was just fatigue he would get kayoed everytime he went for a run.

 

He clubbed Taylor to the floor. Like a caveman. It wasnt a one punch KO like Abraham managed.

 

they've been hurt before. Hell Ward look like he rocked Kessler. the fact that Froch couldnt do what Pittman and Ward could do says alot. Hell Calzaghe the slap master even hurt Kessler with a body shot.

The fact that Froch hasnt even hurt anyone in the tournament says a bunch.

Froch caught him flush and he took it no problem.

When fighters are tired its easier for them to be knocked out. You see it all the time.

 

they havent really been hurt, ye pascal got caught by a stupid punch a couple of time vs pittman, but to he has shown how good his chin is, as has kessler. ward did not hurt kessler other than with his head.

froch didnt catch him flush, not proper powerful anyways, dirrell moves too much.

yes and froch knocked him out, contrary to your belief.

 

Blah, blah. If Froch had power he would have knocked these guys out. He caught Dirrell bouncing off the ropes with a full force hook and dirrell just smiled.

Abraham is gonna blast this joker to pieces.

 

I can't stand Froch, but it's quite evident he had Mikkel hurt and possibly on the verge of going a few times in their fight, but didn't press the attack.

 

so to have power, you must kayo pascal, kessler and dirrell? id love to see someone stop these 3 fighters one after the other.

Froch made Dirrell fall down on canvas, complain, run, hold, but not fight!

 

Both indicate power.

You fail to realize that there are different kinds of power, which leads me to believe that you haven't boxed before. Some power is snappy, some just puts your lights out, some makes you dizzy and sick, etc.

Froch throws punches in such a way that they land very hard, but lack snap. Edwin Valero did the same thing. Still gets people hurt and gets them out of there.

Froch can hurt you, make no mistake. It's Abraham whose power should be questioned. He managed to put Dirrell down due mostly to balance (Froch nearly did the same thing), and he knocked Taylor the **** out, which we apparently don't count any more because Taylor isn't a full grown man and an elite, world-level athlete since he got stopped late a few times.

Froch had to deal with Dirrell, and **** if I ever saw a guy who would be harder to KO than Dirrell. The kid is scared half to pissing whenever his opponent is within arms reach of him. Then he had to deal with Kessler, who has a fricking rock solid chin, and decent movement around the ring.

Froch may not be the most flashy fighter, but let's not go taking away what he does have.

how many fighters are ready to fight anyone in there weight class?? how many champs are cool taking a fight away from home? i dont see ward doing that,**** he wont even leave oaklandatsch
