Pac and Mayweather wont fight
Khan, Bradley, Madina, Alexander wont fight
The heavyweight division is crap
Too many belts

UFC is taking over, because boxing is starting to look pathetic

 

As long as they get a replacement within the next week and push the Green fight back a couple of weeks it can work. Kessler is on 2 points so whoever comes in gets that, they need the chance to fight Green though to progress.

Hopefully this is a fix, Ideally I would just move this stage to the Playoff round and kick Green out, but since that might leave Showtime with a lawsuit, Here is a fix:

1 point is given to Ward and 1 is given to Green from Kesslers total.
Dirrel-Ward is canceled and replaced with Green-Dirrell, and it happens along side Froch-Abraham. This way the winners of both fights advance.

 

According to the rules any replacement starts with 0 points. So he would not get Kessler's points.

 

That wouldn't really change anything. The fight would then be scored 116-116, 116-112, 116-112 for Kessler instead of 115-113, 116-112, 117-111.

 

Dude - this will never happen. Froch and AA would never want anyone to get free points because the points determine who meets each other in the semi finals.

Would never work. They need to find a replacement, but noone good (read: Bute) will accept getting one fight with very very little chance of advancing anyway.

 

Kessler out of Super Six

WBC super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler has suffered an eye injury that will force him out of the Super Six tournament it was announced today at a press conference in Denmark. According to the Ekstra Bladet, Kessler stated he was seeing double. “I am very disappointed,” Kessler said. “I have to give up my dream, the Super Six. Wow dude, first you say floored means being stunned and now this. They could get a replacement and he could still advance. You need to lay off the crack for a few weeks.

Sounds like they are going to get rid of Green and have the semifinals this year.

 

get rid of green and turn it into semi finals.

 

They should've thrown in a couple more names and made it a single elimination tournament which always makes more sense than this loopy fight again and again point system idea.

 

Single elimination tournaments work... point system bulll**** like this does not.
