has improved the most over the last year or so, and which boxer would you say has the most room for improvement?

Said boxer could already be a World champion, or maybe a prospect or contender. :good

I'm gonna say Ortiz, from what I've seen.

ortiz judging from the cambpell fight
il also say Dirrel, he stepped his game up big time against Abraham after his "running" performance against froch

True, but yet he hasn't faced a in face guy like Maidana.
    Time will tell.

Dirrell is a good pick, he definitely looked way better against Abraham than against Froch. If he had fought Froch the way he fought Abraham he would have KO'd him.

    Dirrell's definitely a good shout.

I'll throw Khan's name in aswell...he's improved a great deal already under Roach, and has the potential to take his game to another level or two.

I think Pacquiao has been adding bits to his game over the last couple bouts, but not massive changes...in my opinion anyway. He's definitely improved, but I think this has been happening gradually since he was at 130-135lbs...and he's had the chance to actually incorporate more variety in to his fight night.

montiel, last septmeber(?) he looked shite and was being wrote off, he then scored some very good knockout victories, unified two belts and has become a p4p ranked fighter.

dirrell is an honourable mention, he went from looking like shite vs froch(in most people's eyes) to looking awesome vs AA.

as for who has the most to improve, well id say dawson and alexander. and when i say improve i mean beat top tier fighters in a way that justifies all the fanfare surrounding them. both where being talked about as p4p fighters, both looked crap in their last fights, both have the potential(i still believe) to become the king of their divisions. alexander has looked dodgey a few times now but because of age i give him benefit of the doubt. dawsons next fight is pretty much or break.
