I couldn't have said it better myself. I didn't complain either and made no excuses about the headbutt. That's what separates a real poster from a ****ing troll like so many in this thread.
1. I'll watch the fight again. And document the headbutts 2. Ward is not just a simple brawler. For the first few rounds he boxed Kessler off the backfoot. And he has a really good jab.
I'm not sure it ruined Kessler's career but it surely didn't help his injury. Yes, Ward is a cheating lowlife. Ward himself even admitted that he needs to headbutt to win. His ****ing uncle was the ref for his fight with Kessler, a fight that was in Ward's hometown with three American judges. How many unfair advantages does this guy need?
Its funny listening to all of the excuses that are flying around here...So I guess Ward purposely cause Kessler permanent eye damage because he was planning a dirty fight by headbutting Kessler What about the Dawson\Pascal fight...I guess Pascal puposely headbutted Dawson because he was tired and was about to get KO'ed??? I mean, I'm only using the logic of some posters in this thread.:rofl
:rofl:rofl:rofl Please shut the **** up sir! You're making a complete fool of yourself making this kind of **** up!
It's ****ing pathetic man really it is. Some of these guys have no shame. They're the same ones who would also say that Joe Cortez cost Hatton the fight and that Hatton would have beaten PBF if he had a different ref. Delusion at its highest level.:-(
1. Do it. 2. No I agree - he is much more than just a brawler - just like I said in other posts. He is simply not my kind of fighter because he leads with his head and spoils the boxing. He has a crispy jab, he is super fast, he can adapt, he switches very nicely but he cant punch. No - he is not my kind of fighter.
Ward is going to be a great fighter, he has Hopkins written all over him. I really don't think he intentionally headbutts at all, he just has very quick feet and seems to "get inside" on guys sooner than they anticipate and that seems to create the head contact, if you couple that with his chin always being tucked it may appear he is the cause of the accidental clashes. He shut both Kessler and Green out in the super six, but I see Dirrell being a much bigger challenge due to styles. Ward is one tough nut. And I was a person who thought Kessler was going to stop him.
I remember that...they claimed that Joe wouldnt let Ricky hit and hold...I mean come on, if that makes Joe Cortez a bad ref. for that then I wonder what would they say about Capetillo as a trainer?:rofl
