People seem to forget the Clottey-Cotto fight could have went either way. To be honest Cotto took more of a beating in that fight than Clottey did. Just as Roach said, after watching that fight we knew Cotto wasn't the same. So go after him!!

Two fighters that hated each other making an exciting fight doesn't mean they were not past it. Shot indeed as you said. ;)

After Cotto was taken apart at the hand of cement Margo. Cotto was Damaged goods at that point everyone knows that.

The better resume between Pac and money both have good resumes. Lets look at Moneys Carrales, Hernandez, Manfedy(not a champ but good at the time), Castillio(Tough Close fights), Marquez( fighting to far up in weight), Judah, Mosley, and De La Hoya(@154) that's just off the top of my head

Manny, De La Hoya(@147 too much weight loss), Marquez, Barerra, Morales, Cotto, Clottey(coming off a loss to Cotto) and Hatton.

Is there more that should be added, both has pretty good resumes so whats the point here.

Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez weren't all that marketable, and Pavlik had already spent the year of 2009 fighting over-matched opposition. These are facts, irrefutable facts. I'm actually a fan of Martinez and Williams, and love to watch them fight but there are always reasons for fighters choosing certain opponents.

Indeed. Barrera supposedly being shot is a baseless accusation designed to discredit the one man in Boxing today that poses threats and overshadows Floyd Mayweather Jr. When you filter out all of the bull****, that is basically all it comes down too. Agenda-driven nonsense.

If a feather-fisted Foreman would easily beat Cotto, why do we give Pacquiao so much credit for beating Cotto? :huhThis is the type of stuff we are speaking of. Is it clear yet? It's no secret Manny (in his sleep)cracks harder than Foreman.
