Feather champ. Davey Moore died shortly after his bout in Los Angeles. In the locker room sadly is where the"Springfield rifle" met his end. not in the ring.
Remarkably, he sounded all right in the post fight interview before leaving the ring, not at all like Starling after Molinares. (Jacopucci also seemed fine before leaving the ring after Minter's devastating knockout, gesturing with a :confto the camera. Fortunately, ringside physicians are now more vigilant about post knockout evaluations.)
