Things I want (not neccesarily realistic, but there you go)

Pac v May
No more super six delays or people dropping out
A British heavyweight tournament with Fury, Rogan, Audley, Chisora, Sexton, Price etc
A super six tournament at 140 with Khan, Ortiz, Maidana, Bradley, Alexander and someone else
Lopez v Gamboa
Rematch between Sexton and Bayaar
Pacquiao to knock out Mayweather and go on to fight Paul Williams
Rematch between Williams and Martinez
Berto v Mosley semi final
Cotto v Margarito semi final
Winner of final taking on the winner of Martinez/Williams
Katsidis v Marquez
Murray v Mitchell
De gale v Groves
Haye to take on a ****in Klit

Expectations
I expect that none of the above will actually happen.
Mayweather to create another reason not to fight Pac
David Haye to retire with a whimper rather than a bang

Fears
More of the same crap we've had this year or worse.

 

My dream is that Khan fights someone with a pulse. Dirrell gets his rematch against Froch and Dawson gets a rematch with Pascal on neutral territory.

I know what you mean about Chisora, I'm not a fan either. Something about his attitude, the way he talks etc is a little fishy, although I can't put my finger on it. However, even though I hate to say it, I think Chisora would probably come out on top. I'm a fan of Martin Rogan but while he has heart, and could cause an upset or two, I don't think he has a great chance of winning the thing. Sexton easily ouboxed him in the second fight. Audley would be a long shot too, Sexton's chin could let him down, Fury has poor conditioning, and Price I don't know much about. That leaves Chisora and from what I've seen of him so far (admittedly not a great deal) he probably looks the most promising out the lot.

 

My hopes.....

Pretty simple really - to be better than the embarrassing shower of **** we've been served up this year.

Hopefully Sky have got their act together with regard accepting mismatches/**** fights as main events and actually put effort into their coverage.

No more Eurobums. No more Commonwealth title fights.

The best British fighter in a division holding the title.

Fears - even more average domestic fights been held up on the ''let's wait until they both hold world titles'' tripe...... more alphabet bull****, David Haye still being around the sport.... stuff like that.

I'm usually a glass half full type, but this year has been a real letdown despite there being plenty of promising fighters and fights to discuss and look forward to.

 

Hopes.

Less endlessly repetitive moaning about the same subjects

Less people, who are unable to see the big picture, whinging about fights that don't happen exactly when they want them to.

Less of people who claim to have followed boxing for years acting surprised/ shocked when something happens in boxing that has been standard practice in the sport for years and years.

Less unrealistic idealism that turns to hate and disillusion when the inevitable happens and people are disappointed.

Fears

Same old moans and self-fullfilling doom and gloom.
