Don't know. But the weight falls in the range of JrMW. Makes it a JrMW fight.

Again...maybe, maybe not. One thing is certain, Margarito, power or no power, would likley have stopped JMM at 144.

What difference does it make to YOU if he fights in the US or in Mexico? Shouldnt you be saying he shouldnt be allowed to fight Period. If you feel so strongly that "cheaters" should be banned for life why is it alright for him to fight at all?

This is great news for boxing. It sends a message that says the various states do not need to march in lock-step with an incompetent commision from another state.

cause one cheats and should be allowed in the ring. its easy to see those who have never boxed and/or those who are mexican in this argument.

    No Torrance, California

but he claims he is from Tijuana and calls himself the Tijuana Tornado, and flies the Mexican Flag and the Paisas jump on his dick, like I said Bob Arum, Margarito, and the Texas Athletic Commission are going to make alot of money exploiting the ignorant Mexicans that will support this.....

and this is coming from a Zacatecano putitos

Fair enough... I just don't feel it should be for the title. First fight for Manny in that weight class? Just now licensed Margarito? Makes no sense except to give Manny another title. We all should know damn well they aint giving Margarito a title after he just got back reinstated.

I do not see that happening, but again everyone has their opinion. I'd like to reserve judgement until JMM has another chance above 140 and I see Margarito in action again. I don't think JMM's performace against Floyd indicates his limitations, just beat by a better man.
