I wanted to see him stay...But injuries happen...I would have liked to see the Green fight...it woulda been a competitive fight and a victor by Green could have opened up a few doors for this tournie...

woulda picked Kessler but still an interesting match up

It is only a good thing in the senese that at least his eyes will now have a chance to heal.

Without good judgment of distance and timing he was reduced to a slugger in his last fights. Hopefully all goes well and he comes back better than ever.

Just read random ESB threads, it's the same sort of ejaculate.

The thread title does not have me chomping at the bit to watch a six minute video.

What is the gist of why "its a GOOD thing KESSLER left..."?

It's not good for the tournament that one of the fighters left and the basic raison d'etre of the tournament has gone to ****. It's not a good thing that a fighter has a career threatening eye injury.
Basically it's damage control time for Showtime now. I will be glad if the remaining fighters continue, but in no way is this a good thing.

Fights don't happen quick enough, I knew it was a problem from the start.

The only way this **** works if it's fighting all the time. If you make everyone fight every 60 days it'd be fair. 6 months between fights is too long.

It`s a good thing also for the boxers left ouside such as Bute.

From now on, The Super Six is just a tourney not " the competition of the best SMW" since the original favorite wont be even in semis.Never was, since Bute is within the best two in almost all rankings. Not to mention Green is weaker than Andrade, Bika and even Stieglitz maybe.

Super 6 became Super 7 and now Super Four.

I am vastly disappointed, but still.. one has to acknowledge the sincere risks with fighting with one bad eye. Look at Calvin Brock and Lamon Brewster to name a few...

I wish Mikkel a speedy recovery, but I am afraid the career is panning out for him, he's not getting younger and this injury will have him out for 6 months at least. :-( He just had a tough break with Team Palle, this is like the last nail in the coffin, unfortunately.
