One jab........that's all Khan will need to derail the Maidana delusion train!

About 20 seconds into the first round of the fight you'll see it.........Khan's first jab connecting to the face of Marcos Rene Maidana:

But you wont just see it, you'll hear it. The microphones placed around ringside will pick up the sound of that jab and broadcast it via Sky Sports around the world.

As Maidana's head pops back, the effect of that one punch will be devastating. Not because it will send Maidana to the floor.....it will be devastating because at that moment you will wake up from the delusion from which you've been suffering. That jab will hit you almost as hard as it does Maidana. You'll know, if you have half a brain, that you're hopelessly outmatched for speed and that you're in for a long, painful lesson.

Maidana's far too slow to connect with the jab. He'll be lucky to land half a dozen all night!

 

I see Maidana possibly getting wiped out before he gets started. Khans chin may not be great, but neither is Maidana's. I would take speed and power of slow but powerful anyday.

Khan-Maidana threads are all the rage right now, but my 140lb obsession is still Bradley-Alexander. :conf When are those threads back in fashion?

 

Maidana chin has been proven. He took big shots after big shots from Ortiz who has a far more pop then any fighters Khan been with. Well you can make a case for Barrera but he's a shot in the dark fighter.

 

As soon as you start one!

I also think Khan beats him with speed. But he doesn't knock maidana down with the first jab lol!

 

If the fight happens (I'm not convinced it will actually happen) Maidana will KO Khan, its just a matter of when.
