Its the same format as boxing, its ruled a KO if some gets KTFO, and a TKO if someones getting pounded on and the ref stops it. Randy hasnt actually got that good a chin, he's been dropped a few times recently and KO'ed a few times. But he'll probably still take Toney out fairly easily :bart
Rear naked choke I'd say is more likely. Randy punching the **** out of Toney on the ground, Toney turns his back, and Couture chokes the **** out of him. That's my pick anyway (although I see I voted for the KO by mistake - stupid spastic fingers).
I doubt Toney would let his arm be broken - he'll have never faced that sort of pain before. If he's caught in armbar (which I don't think will happen btw) then he's likely to tap out of panic. Couture should win - it is after all his sport and he's far more relevant in UFC than Toney is in boxing. I mean, if Toney was fighting a boxing equivalent to Couture I think most would back him to lose. What will be interesting to see is how Couture fights - often he's been able to trade with more powerful strikers due to his superior boxing technique and obviously that's not going to be the case now. I think Couture will win - probably by choke as he won't want to risk getting punched while holding Toney down on the ground but Toney has an outside chance.
For some reason I'm looking forward to this more than a lot of boxing recently... It's cos its Toney. He's so full of **** and delusional this is going to be hilarious whatever happens. If he loses brutally for the first time in his career it will be interesting to hear his response, if he wins...well :rofl
Toney would probably just lay there laughing and get a cigar out and wait for the round to finish while Couture is maiming the **** out of his arm.
When the ref sees he's obviously unconsious (usually by lifting his arm and waiting for it to flop, like in WWE) he'll wave the fight off. Although that's more if one fighter is caught in a guillotine and you can't see his face. If its an RNC the ref should know he's out of it straight away without lifting an arm.
I reckon Toney will get taken down and beaten up. He might make it past the 1st round but I'm not sure. I would like to see him land a good shot and make it interesting.
Doctor can stop the fight if they don't think a fighter is able to continue. The referee can stop the fight if a fighter is no longer 'intelligently defending' themselves.
