Wrong. Willing to do random and unlimited urine testing all the way to the fight. You ****s have a really nasty habit of trying to claim Manny avoids drug testing when he simply doesn't want Floyd's blood testing to the day of the fight and they can have as much **** as they want, when they want.

When the Chief Medical Officer of the Olympics tells Nevada that Floyd's amount of blood testing isn't necessary ("Olympic" style), I tend to take his word for it.

There's no denying that Pac's team dealt with the situation poorly. But in those quotes you've provided, none of them were conclusive enough to determine what exactly Pacquiao had supposedly agreed to. Because yes, he did agree to extra testing from the very beginning (30 days cut off, or whatever), but I don't think he ever accepted complete random testing. But whatever the case, they should have handled it better.

With all the rumours, false statements, people going back on their word...it's all become a messy pile of ****, with it being difficult for any of us to accurately extract what happened.

But what did they agree to? Was it the complete random testing? If so, where is there a serious quote (with no joking like you say) from them saying "Yes, we've agreed to complete random testing".

I'm not going to automatically read comments/reports from any article/person, and be able to accurately delve into what happened in those negotiations.

Roach was the one who said they would accept it early in the first negotiations (late November)

Pretty Boy Fred, Roach is not Manny's manager or promoter. And when he made those comments, he did so in a Elie Seckback video for crying out loud (with numerous other handheld cameras asking queations too).

And like we've already established, their internal communications in the whole process was a shambles. With so many of their members launching non-consulted statements, they looked like amateurs.

Uncle Rico, I know, I was just answering your question as to where peeps got the impression that they agreed to it from.

Refer to post 19. Not all of us are cavemen, Nallege. Some of us are able to interpret statements without waiting for the Mayweathers to tell us what to think.

They shouldn't have been calling it a joke and take it lightly if they weren't willing to do the complete random testing that Mayweather wanted though. So either they were negotiating the drug testing when the received it while lying to the public to spin it in there favor. Or they didn't understand the whole random testing until later and spoke to soon.

True the articles may not give us 100% accuracy to the T. We will never know the true inside scoop, that goes with everything as we were not in there circles. But they are still more accurate then the opinions and accusations that fly around on this board on a day to day basis.

Mayweather gets his mental edge by trash talking about his opponent before they fight. Floyd wanted/wants Pacquiao to get drug tested because he really believes or thinks Pac is doing PED's. I don't think he wanted Pac to get drug tested just for control purposes.... that sounds stupid.

Who wants to get drug tested? I'm pretty sure any professional boxer would have some kind of problem with it. But who would turn it down? At the end of the day they'd go through with it. It's such a huge fight and if you wanted the fight bad enough you would go through with the testing.

If I was Pacquiao there's no way I would have turned down a 14 day cut off. It's not like they're going to test you every single day. Giving blood here and there on random days ain't that big of a deal.

I'm a fan of both equally but I hold both fighters accountable for this fight not happening.
