but since we are, they said toney's hardest punch was 1300 lbs. i don't think all of his punches, especially when hes throwing combos, are that hard. that said he certainly hits harder than couture; punching is what he does.
the whole 'not man enough to stand' logic goes both ways - mma people often say that boxers aren't 'man enough' to do anything box or that boxing is equivalent to a 'silly agreement' where people say they wont kick grapple etc because they can't.

Which part of the statement showed anything about my boxing knowledge? If you are just looking for an argument go down to the bar and start some ****. If you think that people get taken down because they are just "doing nothing" then you have very little knowledge about fighting in general. The punch get's smothered during the shoot for the takedown.

The only way Toney is going to avoid the takedown is to get a knockout straight away, which while possible is not one of the more likely things I've imagined. Toney is a master of using the momentum of a punch and the opponents body to set up some of the most beautiful counters I've ever witnessed especially against Jirov.

The Problem is that turning his body that way will take away what balance he has and get him landed on his ass and either choked out or pounded into puddy.

He is kind of right. Most people can throw five fast punches with the same amount of force. They won't be terribly powerful punches though. But then I'm thinking he isn't being serious.
