Lewis' losses were worse, but Lewis fought way better competition than Vitali has.

Lewis was down 4 rounds to 2 on all three scorecards at the time of the stoppage. Nice revisionist history there Chester.

I'll agree with that. Let me add that Lewis will obviously be ranked higher all time because of that too.

I don't know why I even bother replying to children.

Bearing in mind Lewis was actually 39 years of age himself when he took on number 1 contender Klitschko...............

Razor Ruddock took a peak Tyson all the way, and Lewis demolished him in 2 rounds. This bout made his name in America.

Tony Tucker was one of the most ducked fighters in the sport, even at 35, with his only loss at the time, a controversial loss against a peak tyson

Frank Bruno - current WBC champion at the time

Oliver McCall - your an idiot. He was at the top of his game at 32. Grow up moron

Tommy Morrison - was nowhere near his best win, but a very good one

Golota - Again, your a moron. I doubt you were even born when the fight Happened. The only reason Golota didn't beat Riddick Bowe twice, directly before the Lewis fight was the fact that he got himself disqualified in both fights. He was leading both Bowe fights into the late rounds. lewis blew him away in 1. Bum? As I said, start watching some fights

Evander Holyfield was PFP number 2 when the fight happened you fool!

David Tua? Do you know who he even is

    Botha?

Again, don't bother arguing with ******s who write this rubbish, probably on the basis that they woke up with a bonor after a Lennox Lewis dream 10 years ago.

I could go through Manny Pacquiao's resume and do what you've done.

I think he;s a box rec boxing fan

Just looks at stats and thinks he's a genius

Vitali was barely on the radar in 2003. Let alone Wlad.

Plus, Lewis was 39 in the fight?! So Vitali only fights old people

If by beating you mean taking such punishment, that he had about 15 cuts to the face, and could barely see a thing, and probably wouldn't have gone two more rounds without losing his sight, then yeah...........

Whether you get knocked out, or bashed up, it's still a stoppage

    Wlad ever fought Lewis genius.

Yes, Vitali lost by ref stoppage as a TKO on cuts, he wasn't stopped as in knocked out. You know the difference, don't play stupid. That's why the WBC ordered an eliminator of Klitschko vs. Kirk Johnson. VK kicked Kirk's ass & then Lewis decided to retire. Those are the facts, spin it any way you like.

1: Ali is rarely rated number 1 of all time at heavyweight

2: The person who normally is, Joe Louis, was also knocked out cold, twice, including once at his very peak

Seriously, it's like all Vitali has is the fact that the only decent fighter he's ever faced stopped him. But it wasn't a 10 count, so it doesn't matter

I doubt Chris Byrd would have even got a fight with Lewis. Take Lewis's poor opponents - they're better than that.

Actually I'm not sure about that. I bet there was a time when Byrd was a better opponent than whoever Lewis fought, but to be fair Byrd was a Don King fighter at the time (I believe)

This is what annoys me about this fight. it's like nobody even talks about what was going on in the ring.

Kltschko won the first 4 rounds, lost the last 2 by huge margins, took huge punishment, and was taken numerous bombs every round by the time he was pulled out.

He didn't get those 15 cuts, by an elbow or a butt you know.

Nobody in their right mind could watch the last round and think Vitali was going on to win it.

Your just using technicalities to defend the guy. Not what actually went on in the ring.

He got those cuts, bumps, gashes, as he was taking about 5 bombs a round in the last couple of rounds. He was taking huge punishment. He was probably lucky he got pulled out.

Being stopped on cuts, from punches, is no different to any other knock out.

It's a knock out. He's taken so much punishment, that he can't continue

As for rematches, Lewis was 38-39 in the first fight..............About 30 pounds overweight. And semi retired. He still won.

Go figure Vitali wanted to get his revenge against a 40 year old legend

Lewis facked his Legacy him self by not giving rematch to Vitali, he said he is going to but backed down.
About the 2 loses i have to say my honest opinion that Lenox loses look bad, who gives a fack he underated Rahman and Mcall, the man was KTFOUT with 1 panch
