This content is protected He looks..........kinda..........................pregnant. Right so errrrm, this is the best that boxing has to offer. Well, looks can be deceiving and all that.
Yep, weights are 237 for Toney and 220 for Couture. Toney is looking a bit tubby. I think that's the best we are gonna get from Toney with regards to his weight.
Saw it while i was in the gym. Man this card is packed Penn-Edgar Couture-Toney Florian-Maynard Diaz-Davis Maia-Miranda haven't seen much of miranda but he looks good. Diaz-davis should be interesting. i want to see diaz get KTFO
Yeah your right, I was hoping maybe, with the different type of training that it may have had some kind of effect on his physcical appearance, I guess not. Ah well, we have to wait and see until tomorrow how it goes.
I hate videos like this...I'm already jonesing wanting to watch this fight, hard enough more then a day out and stuff like this only makes me more antsy! C'mon tomorrow!
I think Toney concentrated on doing a lot of explosive work, and he got to drill a lot of technique. I think the emphasis was on getting Toney familiar with the fight dynamics of MMA. I highly doubt he did much road work, if any. I think he'll have enough in the tank to go hard for a round, if Couture can weather the storm, then I think he will ride out a decision, or perhaps spring a choke on Toney.
Nah, he was 237 vs Rahman... and he looked awful. It was his heaviest ever. I was praying he'd come in at around 215-220 (he was 217 for the Holyfield fight). I thought he had no chance before I knew about the weight. I think he has even less than no chance now, if that's even possible. :-(
Randy Couture comes in at 220. I thought Toney was supposedly in shape! Just looked at his weights on boxrec and 237 is a weight for his career high! He weighed this for the Hasim Rahman 1st fight. So here he comes in again at his career high weight. Titties and belly all over the cage tomorrow! atsch Is 237 in shape for James Toney? Have a look at what he's weighed in at for his fights throughout his boxing career! He was 217 for his last boxing match! http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=1437&cat=boxer And the weigh in news is on boxing news 24...
