Sugar Nikolai Valuev vs. Lennox 'The Lion' Lewis

    Valuev, though their reach is near equal, has a size advantage. All in all, Valuev is the bigger man. Valuev has better one punch power, and he definitely will against Lewis since he is punching down. I think their speed differential will not come into play.

    Lewis' heavy feet would be his downfall against the smooth stepping Sugar Nikolai Valuev. Valuev has, at minimum, a jab equal to that of Lewis; and would not lose the jab battle. Valuev would step around his too steady foot opponent, and beat him to the punch time after time. Expect a fight similar to Lewis' fight with Mercer, only picture Mercer gently moving around Lewis to set up angles.

    I started to pick a Valuev victory by ko, but I've changed my mind. Valuev, who is 7" tall, would smother Lewis by leaning on his shoulders the same way he did against John 'The Quietman' Ruiz. Valuev by decision.

    What's with this word ''equal''? Lewis does not compare to SNV in any department. Niko wins in whatever way he chooses.

    Sugar has the better physical stats and has a God-given poleaxe of a jab. Need I say more?

    You are kidding right, there is no way that valuev beats lewis, all valuev does is plod around the ring, lewis would crush him.

    They are kidding. There's this really stupid running joke that's been going on for way too long on ESB about how great "Sugar" Nikolai Valuev is. :roll:

    The fact that Valuev size is all he has is little help against Lennox. He'd easily give Valuev the first KO loss of his career if he came out of retirement now. He fights little guys because, win or lose, it ends up looking like a close one on the scorecards.

    I am a huge Lewis fan and i think it is extreamly unfair to match him up with Valuev. Valuev has size , speed , power , ring IQ and chin on Lewis . SNV is locked up for murder.

    Ridiculous. Who has ever knocked Valuev down even? Fact is, Lewis didn't like it to the body and Valuev isn't called "the body snatcher" for nothing. He'd crush Lennox to the body, killing the body and the head will follow. Lewis didn't have the iron ribs Mirovic had.
