Even if he never tried it before it still wasn't an issue until Pac stated that he didn't want blood drawn close to the fight. When blood issue was first talked about and Pac's camp agreed nobody really cared and said it was cool as long as Mayweather got tested as well since he may be on steroids. Then as soon as Pac balked then it became an issue.

Pac and Mayweather agree to the blood testing and fought already then nobody would be talking about blood testing right now because its only significant now since its the reason the fight was canceled and may be the reason why the fight hasn't been agreed to now. Nobody cares about the 10mil pd penalty because it was agreed to. If Mayweather declined it and the fight was held up because of that then that would be the big issue and give it significance.

Its the same thing said with the catch weights. They aren't an issue because Cotto and Margo agreed to them. That's whats said in order to defend the catch weights right.

I give him credit for beating Mosley and I think he is good, but to say he always fights top 3 p4p is not true. Hatton and Marquez were not top p4p in boxing. Floyd needs Pacman, yet Pacman does not need Floyd.

 

If Mayweather wanted out of the fight he wouldn't have been the one to initiate negotiations in the first place. Purse split would have been the killer if he wanted to kill the fight as that would have been full proof.

If Mayweather wanted out of the fight then Pac allowed him to leave rather then go through with the drug testing, make 40-50mil, defeat Mayweather and become legendary beyond belief. But I guess random blood testing up to the fight was to scary to go through.
