pacquiao vs margarito. A bad damaging fight for boxing?

im a huge manny p fan but i am not liking this fight one bit. It stinks.

1. Catchweight. I dont have a big problem with catch weights. For example fighting margarito who himself has rarely fought above 147 at a catchweight of 150 is perfectly reasonable to me. I dont see margo suffering making that weight. But DONT make it for the lmw title! World title fights should NOT be at catchweights. In this case two guys who have hardly ever fought at this weight before! Its a farce imo.

2. Margo doesnt deserve a pay day. He was blaitantly found to have loaded his gloves. And its vvv likely he loaded them for the cotto fight. Google cottos face after their fight. He took cottos spirit and soul in that fight. Hes a different fighter because of it! So for me personally i dont want margarito to get his big payday! He gets bannd for one of the most dangerous things you can do in boxing then his second fight back gets a crack at the p4p king. It isnt right on any level!

3. There are other fights out there for pac! I am a huge pac fan and have always told friends who dont follow boxing a lot that manny always fights the top guys. Or top 2/3 fights available to him. But after fighting clottey who was mismatched completely i thought hed go after a more credible name. Margo is extremely dangerous but hes been out for a year. Williams or martinez were free at 154. At 147 there are a couple better options even. Or 140 bradley. These are all fights id rather have seen than cheating margarito!

4. Another bob arum fighter?! Not a huge problem for me tbh. But cotto clottey and now margo? Even as a pac fan im finding it a bit weird. But to be fair this isnt a big prob for me

5. Its not pacquiao vs mayweather. Maybe im being selfish here but i wanted to see this fight so badly i probably wouldnt have been happy with anyone pac was fighting instead. For this i blame mayweather more than pac. His silence and 'holiday' all seem to suspicious to me.no1 knows all the facts as an observer it does seem floyd is more to blame for the fight not taking place. But i blame pac aswel. No1 is innocent in all this. Not arum not shaeffer not mayweeather not pacquiao. All 4 are robbing us fans (selfish of me i know)

6. Margarito can definately win!! Hes a big tough guy who can really hit! How ****ed up would it be if he won! The cheat comes back and wins and it would certainly end any chances of a pac floyd fight. Its messed up

im not saying pac is taking an easy fight or ducking. I just feel this fight is all wrong for boxing. I dont like it one bit. And as a pac fan i dont feel comfortable if he won and started getting called an 8 weight champ. As far as im concerned its a disgrace this is for the lmw title!

 

dont get me wrong. Its a difficult fight for sure. I just dont think its a good fight. with everything surrounding it. Margos ban. The catch weight. It being for the title. I dont know it just stinks for me.

Maybe thats just my dissapointment at the lack of floyd vs pac talking
