Putting plaster in your gloves is the same as bringing a weapon in the ring. PEDs are so common around the sport that I dont consider it on the level of loaded gloves. As for diuretics, they help a fighter make weight by dehydrating them. IMo and that of many others it gives the fighter less of an advantage if anything. Margo should be banned for at least another year. The Texas commission should be embarrassed to have thier greed exposed.

 

Cotto was never anything special to me. I still can't name the marquee fight that made everyone a Cotto believer. Sure he beat Shane, but it wasn't all that impressive to me. Back in the day when he was undefeated and folks said that he could beat Floyd I just laughed. Limited mobility, shitty defense, and that crappy ass trainer? If Manny didn't beat that chump, I would have been shocked and appalled.


Hatton was a joke! Hatton hugged and grappled Tszyu to victory, but never did anything that made me think that he was or could be elite. The most impressive thing about Hatton was his entrance. I picked Hatton to win, primarily because I hate *******s, and I bought into the 24/7 and his new game plan with Sr. But he completely abandoned the plan and got ktfo. Hatton was and is a joke. Logically, I didn't think he had much of a chance, but I wanted him to win.
