Even if he had chased history like the Sugar Rays, Mayweather was never good enough to come close to their level

I've heard that still happens unfortunately

I think Roy Jones Jr is still sponsored by Jordan Brand.

i see what your saying mate but i think its a stretch to call him a disgrace to boxing. Thats a bit extreme.

He is one of the most hard working dedicated boxers ever. Hes always in shappe. Trains hard and fights with extreme skill. Hes achievements are no joke aswel.

He chats a lot of **** and can be very annoying and his legacy dont pay bills attitude is well documented. But its his choice at the end of the day. Not being like the sugar rays doesnt make you a disgrace. How many were like them?

Is he as great as them? No he isnt. But hes not a disgrace. Far far from it

Both Sugar Rays fought for money. Sugar Ray Leonard retired when he thought he had enough cash after the olympics. Sugar Ray Robinson admitted he only fought for cash.

Really this is common knowledge. Step ya game up

To say that he is a disgrace for boxing at this point is quite premature. Give some time you Pacterons!

Good article... the Pretty One does care about "legacy", though. He mistakenly thinks it's tied to the "0" in his loss column.

Both Mayweather and Pacquiai don't have the resumes of both Sugar Rays but mostly with Leonard who's beaten Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Hagler.
