I like Funtime Frankie a lot got all the shots and out of Warrens Olypians I think he will go to the highest level. If he keeps going the way he has I would expect him to fight for a British title early next year. I would love to see Warren doing a card over here in Dublin with Gavin and his other Irish stars he showed. IF Gavin wins the Irish title get him to defend it once in Dublin. See what the numbers are like and it may well be the start of Warren holding the odd card over here. Meaning more live boxing which I am all for.
Kelly Pavlik rumoured to be on the Pac/Margarito undercard. Are any of ye pondering what I'm pondering? :hey
I hope not. There is only two guys at middle who i wouldnt fancy Andy lee winning against and thats pavlik and Pirog. Them two throw between 90-100 punches a round with power all 12 rounds. Both have solid chins and good defence ,pirog a little better in that department of course. Lee wouldnt get break and my head tells me he would crumble under the pressure in the late rounds. I would hate to see another irish middle used as a stepping stone and get bashed.
Macklin and Warren have been very nice to each other recently, Warren already has Frankie and he signed three Irish fighters in the last two months - so if Warren does bag Macklin I'd say he will be over. p.s. has someone fraped Harry McGavock?
ROAD RUNNER McCLOSKEY DEFENDS OTHER TITLE http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/august10/aug10_mccloskey_roadrace.html GALLAGHER CONFIRMS PRESENCE IN MACKLINS CORNER FOR BARKER SHOWDOWN http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/gallagher-confirms-presence-macklin’s-corner-barker-showdown DOHERTY GETTING "SPIKED" ON O'SULLIVAN'S WARREN DEBUT http://www.boxing-ireland.com/20100827_spike_osullivan_frank_warren_debut_34.html
I would like to see Macklin sign with Warren it would makes sense along with his other irish signings and points to possible shows in Dublin which is great. Yeah - it looks like someone has fraped Harry's page - not very nice.
Its terrible but i had a chuckle at the last bit "Harry without a doubt you give the best finger in the world!!!!!!!"
My article on another boxing website has come in for criticism in the comments section. Cnuts. Maybe I should start writing for Irish websites again...
