How many of you box?

    I think the most costly part of your plan would be the hosting of the fights, as now it must cost alot for the hiring of medical services, paying commisions etc...

    Sounds my dream.

    It would be ashame for the idea never to take off at all, would it not?

    If you never get the money it might never happen, would that not be a bigger shame than having to answer to someone?

    Well, we'll see what happens. Boxing gyms aren't big anymore and it is therefore a very risky business venture. I would prefer to build something that would be resistant to economic cycles and fads. To do that, I'd need to have enough money to laugh at such things. Then, I could concentrate on what matters and do it the way it should be done.

    I've boxed for three years at the portland boxing club,it makes you appreciate the suddle things about the sport more

    I remember someone in here saying that Robinson used to throw 1000 jabs a day. I want to be able to do that! 100 jabs in one sitting on the heavybag is hard enough, 1000 seems crazy!
