Actually he has maybe 2 bad games this year and that is all. I have watched wesser play probably more times than anyone except his family. He has been the best back :deal

I dont like Wesser personally as he wasnt the nicest bloke to white up and comers in the Panthers gym but will agree he was a electrifying player for us..So so quick..

I think hes still got something left but aint anywhere on the level during his panther years.Souths as a whole have been very dissapointing this year..Though Sam Burgess is my favourite forward in Rugby League.Man the poms can produce the odd tough talented forward..Loved Morley when in NRL..

    :rofl:rofl

Best back my arse, he's been patchy at best

Merritt has been better, champion has been better, Sutton & Sandow have been about as patchy, Talanoa has even been more consistent, Best has been better.

Wesser has had some real pearlers of games, yet he has absolutely butchered a few also

we offered him a contract & he didnt accept it, not muuch you can do.

I dont think he'll make it to be honest, i thought he would at first & i hav ent really seen anything to warrant keeping him.

The way our toyota cup team is going, these blokes deserve a go in firsts before long,Matt Mundine as a 5/8th looks like a heap of potential also, his attitude & weight seem to have come good.

Ross was signed for **** all & him just being around the squad has been invaluable, his experience & pressence have been well worth the pittance we paid for him, & from what i've heard he could be a real special next year, there arent many as fit or as strong as him, he's an unbelievable trainer

Mate Ben Ross is definetly a professional when it comes to dedication to footy but seriously he should give it away..The poor bloke is a shortpriced favourite to get ko'd brutally at some stage if he plays on next season..He has a ridiculously glass jaw..

Not to mention though corrected he is still getting over a serious neck injury..

Champion has been better my arse. Merritt and Talanoa would be the ones close.

Sutton and Sandow :rofl:rofl These halves should have had you guys in the semis but they arent up to leading a team around the paddock. Wesser at 30yrs of age isnt anywhere near the 2002/03 but still good enough to be good in your team :deal

Mad Monday is only 10 days away :hey:deal

10 days away eh? i would have thought 9, but lets not split hairs..:huh

30's not that bloody old, Preston campbell must be about 47..:yep

He's good enough to be in our team, but good?? to be truelly good in this day & age you need to be consistent like a Billy Slater or an absolute freak like Hayne or Dugan, Wesser will get one more year, he seems to have improved as the year has gone on, hopefully with a full off-season & no more injuries we'll squeeze another year out of him until a whole heap of youngsters are ready to come up to NRL

    Presto will never retire :yep

30 is pretty old for a player like Wesser whose main attribute and some say only attribute for most of the time was his blinding speed. Most of his acceleration is gone now but i think you could get one mighty season out of him similar to the season Rocket Rod Silva had in his twilight.

Bunnies are one of my favs but those ****s are annoying to follow :-(

One more mighty effort against St Merge inflicting 6 injuries on the minor premiers leaving them dead in the water for the finals :deal

To my knowledge, Ross will get 50K this year. If he played more than a dozen or so games, it would have been 150. Even though he's only on 50K, we've still had to set aside 150K and not been able to use that on other guys.

I think it's too early to say with Capewell, but in the last 3 games I've seen some potential. Sandow has had a fine final third of this season, but prior to that, hes been a passenger really. still, it's a pretty big ask to expect to be picked at 5/8. Most 5/8's nowdays have to work for the right to be there by showing the skills required from other positions.

I just wish Souths/Norths would have handled him better by playing him at his natural position while he was in Norths.

the best side wins the comp ash.

St George needed bennett to bring scott minto down to them and out of retirement to be a chance.

    Actually, I disagree...
The finals series is simply there for entertainment purposes as knockout footy is exciting. The best side for mine is the team leading the comp at the end of the 26 rounds. Granted that it's not an even playing field with some teams playing harder ones twice, and some don't, etc, but at the end of the day, if you're at the top after 26... :good

The GF winner simply determines who's the form team of the month.
