When judging a fighter we judge his overall career. P4P, what Adamek has done and is doing is more impressive than Haye. I respect Haye's unorthodox style and dangerous punch. I was also impressed with his CW campaign. But I cannot evaluate him as a HW, he simply has not done enough. While Adamek has been getting down and dirty, Haye is busy having keyboard wars with Audley.
I rate both Haye and Adamek as A/A- fighters, considering their size. They both fought with success in the lower weight division and now they have good fights at HW, despite their lack of size. They are A level fighters below 220 pounds. For instance RJJ was an A+ fighter, but when he won the belt in the HW div., he wasnt an A+ HW fighter.
Where in the above posts did i compare Adameks AT standing to Haye's Brother chill out , im not dissing your boy Adamek and i actually agree with you Adamek is active and he isnt shouting his mouth off he's just getting on with what every fighter should be doing , fighting !!!
Exactly. Ruiz is/was too old/slow to impose that punch, clutch, maul style. Ruiz is the total wrong style to fight if you're preparing to fight, let's say, Tomasz Adamek.
Thats because Roy was on the slide back then , or if he wasnt the time it took him to resize back to 175 was enough father time to see to that !!!! Look man if your gonna say Adamek is an A level fighter you have to be referring to him now , he's still active at his natural size , he is after all he is a HW , compared to the beasts nowadays he is a small man , but back in the day 220 - 240 was the size of all the HW's , i dont get ya mate , Adamek is either an A level fighter or he's not , and i beleive he's not , and on that note im gonna close this conversation as we have hit a brick wall , Its been great :good
The problem with HW division is that there is no weight limit, and to rate boxer's abilities, you can rate him pound for pound. This is why I see Adamek as an A level fighter, and not see him as an A level HW fighter. My last sentence about it :good
well Haye Adamek is for me 50-50. Someone said that Haye has the most devastating streight right.Forgot Wlad's? Haye has more power then Adamek, but not enough to KO him!!!!!!HE is accurate to drop a fighter, but not to KO Adamek!!!.Ruiz was just knocked down , not KOd, he stands up and and fights everytime. And those rabbit punches, well that was ****ing **** that ref didnt see it
adamek would be a recycled,has-been when haye knocked him cold if they ever fought:smooch and adamek just might be dumb enough to take the fight
:-( Adamek ain't the dude who was knocked out cold by some old, average fighter. And right now Haye looks like a total loser, fighting some local bum on twitter. Compare Haye's accomplishments in 2 years at heavy to Adamek's 1 year at heavy and tell me who's been doing more work. I reitarate, it must totally suck to be a Haye fan. Its becoming more and more clear, that Haye will never fight a top contender in this division.
Neither was Haye. He was TKO'ed by one of the most underrated fighters of recent times; Carl Thompson and he was not knocked out cold. Haye was also very young and very very inexperienced.
