this is a hell of a thread. My 3 wishes:

1. More Boxing on t.v. - like amateur bouts, fights on spiketv or sum other channel besides the usual. (also less fights on ppv)

2. One organization- less champs, more fights, better fights = more recognition as a top sport

3. A tournament every 4 years in EVERY weight class - like the world cup

Honorable mentions - the super bowl idea, cheaper ppv, and 15 rounds for championship fights (that way we get real champs)

1. Catchweights for titles becomes illegal

Not very forward thinking. It would be sooo big, and viewing figures would be soo high the priavte sector will pay for it through advertising during breaks.

2. Remove all super and junior weight divisions
3. Get rid of ppv. This will force fighters to be more active if they want to make big money.

1. Have a referee who actually enforces and penalizes these pukes who jab and grab. If I want to watch MMA I'll do so. And no, grabbing and hugging/clinching is not a smart veteran move. I can understand once if he is hurt but to keep doing it results in point deductions or disqualification.

2. Competent judges or simply put judges who can't be bought.

3. Ban Kellerman and Lederman from ever being allowed to hold a microphone again.
