No. Mosley is a speedy slugger. emmanuel is a quick VOLUME PUNCHER who boxes sometimes. marg is a VOLUME PUNCHER with decent power, not sure how great w/o plasters. emmanuel's speed and whatever boxing skills he has is going to make marg look like a slugger without the one punch KO power. emmanuel, unlike Mosley, can't clinch for ****, but he has his footspeed to make up for it against marg. I do expect marg to get KO'd though. emmanuel doesn't hit as hard as Mosley, but in the time that it took Mosley to KO marg, manny already landed 100 moar punches on the harder to find target Cotto.
I think we will see him go moar to the body in this fight than any of his other fights. He's the smaller man, so he wants to fight like the smaller man. It'll take the steam out of marg and stop him from trying to walk manny down. emmanuel throws straighter punches, so the power for those punches weaken when aimed higher at a taller target. His punches can remain straight if he goes to the body.
it might end up looking like the Clottey fight, However if Margarito uses his reach, and I dont mean box, but in a sense get that right hand lead going early you never know what may happen... My only question is, what size gloves, being a Jr Middleweight Title fight, the WBC rules state 10 ounce gloves must be used, However knowing Manny and roach usally they negotiate ring size glove size and catch weights who knows if the rules will be altered a bit in favor of the smaller fighter...
yes and no...Pac wont be able to apply the same type of pressure as an old as fuk shane mosley...but pac's speed will be similar in the sense that TONY WONT BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH PAC'S SPEED AND THAT WILL OFFSET ALL THAT OTHER BULL$HIT.... TONY CANT DEAL WITH SPEED...WE SAW WHAT SHANE'S SPEED DID TO TONY..PAC IS A LOT QUICKER..PAC SHOULD KNOCK HIM BY THE 10TH
Pac won't hit as hard but he'll hit way more often and with way more punches Margo doesn't see coming. I think he ko's margo earlier because of this
Arum is gonna fix the fight like clottey fight... telling margo to be a punching bag and not move to much.
With Pac too small, he can only reach Margos body. Pac will beat the hell out of Margos body that Margo will have nothing left by the 8th, then Pac will go for the head.
End result will be the same, but different fight. Pac won't clinch. He'll be in & out putting lots of combos on margo. Will be very one sided if you ask me.
