Extremely looking forward to this fight, the divisions best doing it just 2 weeks after Dawson and Pascal did the same, can only be good for the sport.

So, who wins and how? Go in depth or keep it short, your choice.

For me, Calderon outboxes Segura early, Segura gets frustrated and really pours it on late, winning by 11th round stoppage despite being behind on the cards.

At first I didnt like Segura but he grew on me. I think he has a good chance at rocking Calderon and putting the pressure like no other has. I got Segura 11th TKO.

Same, i watched him first against Canchilla in their first fight. Thought he was relentless but out of is depth at the top level, how wrong i was.

Excellent prediction may i add :good

Im sure the bout will start at about half 3ish UK time, i have no idea what that equates to in PR.

Can Ivan frustrate him enough for 12 rounds? I dont believe so.
Interesting choice nonetheless, we shall see...

Its a real shame Roman Gonzalez hasn't moved up yet. But this is probably the next best fight.

Don't you dare get me started on the idea of a Segura-Gonzalez matchup!

That would be one crazy war. I like Calderon and appreciate his skills, but Segura brings fun to the table every time he fights.

Interestingly enough, Gonzalez has 2 fights scheduled soon according to the oracle that is boxrec, one against an easy warm up fighter for Gonzalez, the one after is yet to be announced... maybe Gonzalez-Joyi?

Very good fight. Calderon is getting older and this could be the end of his great run, if not, he'll secure his ticket to the HOF. Great fighter. But I have a feeling he'll pass the torch tonight, this is just the kind of a match-up that ends long winning streaks, an aging pure boxer vs. a young puncher.

Not long now, can't believe the lack of recognition this has received on the General.
I understand why those outside of the boxing circle may not buy into it, but for those of us within it this fight should be a highlight in a dull boxing year.

I'll take Calderon by split decision, Segura can punch but i don't think Calderon will let him connect much tonight. Calderon has been on a decline but i think he still has the goods to outbox Segura tonight.
