He claimed we'll find out "who the ***** really is" or something. If he isn't going to tell us, we have no option but to come to our own conclusions. I've always been a fan of David Haye, but recently he's been behaving like like a spoiled prima donna. Even if we accept he's never going to fight a Klitchko, there's still good fights out there for him. Fighting Audley will only satisfy his bank balance, and casual boxing fans/Sun readers. With the way Haye's been acting, I reckon a lot of people might actualy start rooting for Audley. I'm even considering it myself....
I can't even imagine him fighting Audley and seeing him and Adam Booth backtracking and trying to justify it. A video was posted of Adam Booth a couple of days ago, speaking shortly after the Ruiz fight. He said ''Audley is not even on our radar'' and mentioned the fact that Audley has never fought anybody ranked in the top 20, whereas 11 out of Haye's last 16 opponents have been ranked top 15.
Oh, I can, if the money's right. They'll spout **** about "taking care of Audley once and for all", or "It'll be the biggest British fight for years" and how the fans want it etc. Booth would claim that they couldn't get any of the supposed five fighters they were in negotiations with, but somehow they have somebody decent lined up after Audley, without revealing exactly who. I don't think Haye is scared to fight anybody, including the Klitchkos. I believe Booth has convinced Haye he knows best, when in reality all he's doing is ruining Haye's reputation as a fighter who wants to tear through the heavyweight division.
Haye vs Adamek - HBO would get involved as that is a legit bout. Adamek will help Hayes legacy. Haye vs Fraudley - HBO would not get involved and a complete joke of a fight based solely on taking money from people who know both fighters but are not sure if it is a good match up.
David Haye in his own words, last week: "time to tell the truth, which is gonna happen in a few days, you'll understand and you'll realise who really is the ***** and trust me, it ain't me." It's been over a week now and we slowly realize who the ***** is.. it's Haye's loyal fans. He's playing and fu**ing them like if they were a dumb little *****.
listen everyone. i can confirm this will be in tomorrows news of the world. my mates brother was drinking with a bunch of journos who say the only reason it hasnt been yet is the injunction and gagging order audley has on haye, explaining his silence. yep you read it here first
"Of course he will fight Audley Harrison. The tabloid newspapers will help sell it as a grudge match, and get Joe Public interested, and a few pundits like Steve Bunce will build it up as being "great for British boxing" ! The two of them will make millions, Audley will be knocked out in 1 round, 2 rounds max. and Joe Public will realize he's been duped and conned out of his hard-earned cash and boxing will strengthen it's position as the sleazy money-grubbing slut of professional sports."
Paddy Power have odds on the fight and have the date for 13th November as well. I know it's not unusual for bookies to jump the gun and put odds up but normally they don't specify the date and just say bet void if they don't fight by the end of the year.
I thought us old farts were supposed to be the grumpy and whiny ****ers? I have no problem with the guys who never liked Haye or who are pissed off about a Klit fight not happening, but the people who used to like him and are whining away because they were stupid enough to believe everything that he was saying.....calling him a disgrace to Britain and to boxing etc ....FFS.atsch How long have they been following boxing? You'd think certain things would sink in with these (self proclaimed) "true fans" after while.
latest tweet.. "While u watch x-factor tonight (saturday), set sky plus to record BBC1 7:50pm "Tonight's the Night" as I surprise one of my fans. Enjoy" anyone watch it?
Yeah, he happy-slapped an old lady. In Fairness to Haye, she was pretty surprised. After he dispatched the olg hag for the count, talk soon turned to his next opponent. The said opponent is rumoured to be another senile geriatric ward resident.
I hope this is true. I'd rather the Audley fight just got made and it was over with ASAP. It's got really boring now. I am still hoping that a fight with Adamek will be made, though. A fool's hope maybe, but it is my great hope. In fairness, I know loads of people who aren't interested in boxing who'd buy Haye-Harrison. I couldn't count on one hand how many people I know who would buy Haye-Adamek/ anyone else without the surname Klitschko. Haye-Harrison does make sense as a UK PPV, IMO, but I accept that it sounds horrific when it's built-up as a 'world title fight', even given the hideous record of the alphabet sanctioning bodies.
