So Perez and Agbeko where throwing wide punches now:lol:

Dawson is boring dude, Floyd is fun to watch, Dawson isn't.

Based on him beating a 40 year old journeyman - who he'd defeated once already - ? :think

Dawson is more of a cruiserweight than a super middleweight. He should seek challenges up not down with super middleweights.

calling Glen Johnson a journeyman is telling everyone here that you have no clue what youre talking about.

ive seen too many people call GJ that when in reality, hed likely be the favorite if he were in the tournament himself.

If both Johnson and Dawson are rehydrating to 190 lbs after weigh-in, then both of them should moving up to cruiser as soon as possible. Johnson was apparently 192 fight-night against Cloud. All this weight-draining can't be positive for their careers long-term.

So while Dawson seems to think he can make 168, it might not be a smart move. Dawson should try for a few more big fights at light heavy and then move on up to cruiserweight.

Dirrell is the best around that weight 160-175. Has his toughest fight coming up and i believe he's gonna shock the world by KOing Andre ward. (yeah I said it :lol:)

Bute would beat Dawson. Watch and see, however, Dawson will not fight Bute.

I have studied Dawson, and his career and can confidently confirm you are wrong. I openly predicted on ESB that Dawson would lose to Pascal on points and explained why.
Dawson isnt a bad fighter, but lets look at his career and career wins to get to the truth.
In his first 23 fights he had found himself down 3 times, once by light punching Harding.
The wins that people rate him for are a complete joke.
He beat Adamek who had weight problems, but in truth wasnt a great LHW, who had two life and death struggles with Briggs and his only real win of note was over an already beaten CW in Cunningham, but other than that Adamek has no great wins, hes just a novelty act because hes gone up to HW and beat a couple of regional American fighters who couldnt compete at the top European level.
G Johnson is a complete hype job with a ton of losses. Almost every time Johnson steps up he gets beat. Fact. Yet Johnson looked unlucky to many against Dawson first time round.
Tarver is another fraud. He had his 5 mins of fame with Jones but thats it. His other big moments were splitting a couple of fights with G Johnson. Tells you his level. When Tarver fought Hopkins we all saw what happend there.

Remember Dawson couldnt beat Pascal who lost to one of the super 6 fighters. I know styles make fights, but lets remember Dawson has been fed old Ameribum frauds in Harding, Tarver and Johnson (based in America) and not fought any top young hungry LHWs until Pascal, and we know how that went.

Dawson a world class fighter who will always fall short at the very top level
