Why do people Count Mosleys Win over Oscar and not Toneys over Ruiz?

Shane got caught for taking Roids in his fight with Oscar at 154 pounds. That win still stands. WHY? Toneys is a No Contest. That win has to wiped from Mosleys Resume if it wiped from Toneys! When I see people list Toneys Resume they leave out the Ruiz fight but when I see people list Mosleys Resume they say Oscar X2

I've always wondered about this, surely it's not because Mosley said he didnt know about it?

I thought Toney's reason for being on the steroid was to help accelerate healing his torn bicep. He took the Ruiz fight on short notice and didn't have ample time to get the drug out of his system and chanced he'd be clean come fight time. Not exactly like he was trying to get a competitive advantage, just trying to get back to a healthy condition.

Personally I count Toney's win. That was the most dominant and controlling beat down anyone ever put on Ruiz -(not counting the semi-retired version Haye fought).

To be fair it shouldn't stand and the best part is Oscar boxed the ass off Shane in the rematch but that's another argument.

Because the rematch was when it was determined that he was using and Shane pulled off the first fight, the rematch was much closer in which Oscar maybe should have gotten the nod, but i look at these two fighters as being equal in their respective primes, unfortunately Oscar often comes up short in big fights, i.e. Trinadad, Mosely, Hopkins, Mayweather & Pacquiao, he also received gift decisions against Quartey & Whitaker in my eyes, Oscar is my favorite combination puncher though, crisp and fluid.

Very good thought. Id never considered this before, but your absolutely correct. These cheats should be treated and dealt with evenly.
So many times these known cheats have disgraced this sport

    Toney
    Mosely
    Jones Jnr

Its disgusting they are considered ATGs

Says who??? James Toney, his Doctor???

That is NO excuse...Steroids allows a fatass like Toney to easily train for more endurance, helping his fatass last longer.

I think the answer is obvious, Mosley is much loved. It's easier to ignore something when it's a fighter that you actually love to watch.
