I think James Toney would of said something like this.

" you MMa guys are a bunch if ***s, bring on gay ass Brock Lesner since the bitcko sister don't wanna fight"

 But that's exactly what he said before the fight! I think he'd say something different.

It's bad enough that it's next to impossible to decipher what he is saying. Then once you finally figure it out (if you're lucky) you realize that the content of his speech is just as devoid of any true meaning. Once I compared his pre-fight rhetoric against Couture with his actual performance I quickly realized that he says whatever is on his mind, and that's precisely the problem.

Yeah, let's all laugh at James Toney now..
After all, he's just a legend in boxing who had the balls to face another legend in MMA - and on Coutures playground. He failed miserably, just as we all expected, but at least he tried.
Ok, maybe he should have kept his mouth shut, but you know, he had to sell the fight, and both Dana White and Randy Couture wanted him to do so. When the cameras are off, Toney is a very friendly man who is cool to everybody who's cool with him. You'll be hard put to find a boxer who is nicer and more down to earth with his fans. Despite some trash-talking, he showed respect to Couture both before and after the fight.
So go find another fat guy to make fun of.

No, Dana was blowing Toney off for a period of time. He never even wanted this fight to happen. He knew that it would be a freak show. But Toney badgered him relentlessly. Toney even threatened to visit Dana at his house begging for this fight. Dana eventually caved in because he wanted to stick a sock in his smack talking mouth. He also knew that Toney would whine and complain that no one wanted to fight him if he was denied. I don't think any MMA fighters or fans were encouraging Toney to be so disrespectful towards MMA. And people need to zip it about Toney having to fight a wrestler. Dana initially offered him Kimbo and he didn't want him. He got what he asked for. You don't have to be a pretentious condescneding clown in order to sell a fight. Leave those antics to Floyd Mayweather.

welll considering Dana/ufc paid toney .75 mil (reportedly), I think it's safe to say dana did want toney to hype the fight

Hype the fight by disrespecting Dana's entire franchise? Yeah sure, that's really what he paid him to do. I'd love to hear what many of you would be saying about Kimbo if he were running his mouth about boxing the same way that Toney was MMA. Toney didn't even have the common decency to make it to the post-fight press conference. Suddenly he had nothing to say after all of that bravado. Not until he started bashing Couture again as being "scared" even thgough Couture was total class. I just don't respect Toney as a human being. He was even disrespectful to Danny Green when sparring together. He complains about boxing, he complains about MMA, he complains about every damn thing.

Dude, it's almost exactly what Dana wanted him to do as it played out perfectly cuz anyone w/ half a brain knew couture would decimate toney so his org looks good. Dana knew toney's game of running his mouth, so why do u think he signed him? and paid him an insane amount of money (compared to the chump change he pays other full time fighters)? I'm not a Toney fan either (and like mma), but if you can't see how Dana at least tried to play this situation than that's a problem
