What if Hatton had not chased fights with PBF or Pac, would he still be the 140lb Champ?

The Pacquiao fight was 140, and I think Pacquiao would've beat Hatton even if Hatton hadn't had the physical/psychological damage of going head-first into the ring post from a Mayweather left hook.

    No.

Did you forget about the Pacquiao fight? His lifestyle still would have caught up with him, the guy is a mess.

He's had better careers than most boxers can dream of though so he deserves respect.

Yeah Pacman would beat Hatton no matter where they fought... he could fight the 200 pound Hatton right now and win..:yep

But I think now he would be getting past his prime and would lose to Amir Khan and maybe Bradley because Bradley has shown tough, rugged fighters don't get to him...

There are guys @140 that would beat Hatton (Bradley, Khan, Alexander, maybe even Zab). Doesn't matter though, Pac was coming to 140 either way.

He'd have still lost to Pac @ 140. Hatton vs. Bradley 50-50 fight. Hatton vs. Kahn, 60-40 Hatton. Hatton would have still been on the slide at this point in his career.

Fact is, he never belonged in the ring w/ floyd or manny. he was a limited brawler who had no discipline & didn't live the life of a fighter. it would've caught up w/ him eventually.
